“The wait staff was very accommodating to last minute changes to our unexpected party size that increased gradually throughout the night. The waiter was a very kind man and I wish I had more than 5 dollars cash in my wallet to tip him for the outstanding customer service he provided and accomodations. If he is reading this, when I plan to go again you will receive a larger tip. Apologies again for any inconveniences we had caused.“

“This is our favorite place by a long shot. Jenna is so warm and welcoming it's like visiting with family. The food is always superb. The freshest salads, sushi is always perfectly prepared, home made kimchi, home made soy sauce, the real deal. Ramen dishes, bulgogi stew, appetizers are all excellent.“

“Our family’s go-to ramen and kimbap stop. We were so happy to see any sort of Korean food option in North Haven. This store is a cozy, seriously adorable operation if you want to dine in, and the food is delicious either way. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Do use their app! The prices come out the same or cheaper and Uber doesn’t siphon off all their margin.“

“Came here for lunch takeout. Lots of options for pre-made chirashi, onigiri and futomaki. I appreciated the hot food options made to order. We ordered beef gyudon ($14) and mackerel ($15). Although the wait for my food was a little long, I enjoyed the mackerel which was meaty and came with rice and miso soup. The matcha latte was decent too.“

“Had the all you can eat special which compared to other all you can eat places I have been to was decently priced. Just a fair warning it cost more on the weekends. The rolls were okay but the best thing on the menu was the salmon and red snapper sashimi. Place was not that busy and service was good.“

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “The Spicy Miso 2.0 was really good at first. The broth was super rich and flavorful, but toward the end, it started to feel a little too heavy and had a slight bitterness to it. The pork belly was also a bit greasy. I think it would be better if it were cooked a little longer so more of the fat could render out.

I also really liked the tendon and tripe in the pho. The tendon was super soft, tender, and pleasantly gelatinous. The beef meatball was another highlight. It had a really strong garlic aroma.“

“One of the Best Japanese Restaurants in Connecticut if you love Sushi and Sashimi. The Spider roll made with fried soft shell crab is to die for!! My wife had the Dinner Bento Box with the Bento Chicken and loved everything. The service was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. The soup or salad that comes with the meal is very good. We go to the best rated restaurants in Connecticut and NY. and if they were to improve their ambiance/atmosphere which is a little plain and make the restaurant more romantic it would be a destination restaurant and one of the best anywhere.“

“The only thing to order here is the teriyaki chicken. It is simply the best food I have ever had in my life. The simpleness of veggies, rice, and chicken with mouth watering teriyaki sauce is making me drool right now. And it has been around for a very long time that my own father ate it when he was a kid. They treat everyone greatly and make it easy to talk to them and I am telling you right now, if you don’t get extra teriyaki sauce, you will regret it. Go to the mall and stroll to the food court and your eyes will spot the best food in America in my solid opinion.“

“The food and service were excellent! However, the plastic lids and coated paper boxes the food is served in does not work for me because it’s environmentally unsustainable. The amount of single-use plastics we go through for convenience is doing serious harm to the health of our planet and life on it. I think the food service industry (and customers) can do a lot to change that.

I would also love to see some wild caught fish that is certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)!

I was a little skeptical at first, but after using their stuff for a while, I can say it completely lived up to the hype. It is super easy to figure out how to use, and you can just tell that it is built to last a long time without breaking. “The food was excellent. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with all vegetables plus additional vegetables. I ordered two one with shrimp I did not realize all vegetables was just cabbage and the additional stem vegetables was broccoli. They have a small order of sautéed vegetables realizing I should have ordered that instead and the second ordered had no shrimp. I ordered through grubhub because I was at work. I have eaten inside many times first time ordering through grubhub.“

“I went to a Teriyaki Madness restaurant in Handen for the first time yesterday and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, healthy and fresh, and the best part was the service. The attendants, Chelsea, Amaya and Jenaya were simply wonderful. They helped us choose the best deal and order, and they were extremely friendly throughout the whole process. My family and I loved it and we will definitely recommend it.“

“I messed up. I asked for my money back on the idea that I did not receive an order I clearly made correct but I thought was wrong. So I e had sushi in the past. This is not my first rodeo. Problem is I had regular sushi which were hand rolled which I thought meant the same as “hand roll”. My apologies and biggest mistake ever! So just so everyone understands: hand rolled which is not cut into small pieces and look like a mini gyro funnel but stuffed with rice veggies and seafood meat. Regular roll is with the sushi tool and log rolled and then cut into pieces. I will definitely give this place another try and forgive me for what happened! It was ultimately very delicious and very fresh food! Thank you so much!“
