“This place is a 10/10 for a sushi lunch. My husband and I sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed martinis and shared 3 lunch entrees for around $50. Our chef and server were both attentive and friendly. The bar has good chill date vibes. There were some patrons having hibachi on the other side of the restaurant and it sounded like a good time.“

“Came from Maine, and had a great time, absolutely beautiful family, food and sushi were amazing, and the fried rice is to die for. Everything here seems fresh, and that’s amazing and unexpected. Amazing service and cheap for what we got. We will most likely be back tomorrow for takeout! Only thing is, it’s small but comfortable when you sit down. I hope this business thrives!“

“We have been loyal customers of Bonsai for years, whether we’re dining in or grabbing takeout! My wife’s go-to is the dinner bento box, and I’m a huge fan of the chicken teriyaki dinner. Everything is consistently fresh and delicious.

One thing you absolutely cannot miss is their salad with their special dressing, it is truly out of this world! Everyone I’ve recommended this place to says the exact same thing. If you're looking for quality Japanese cuisine and a spot that treats you like a regular, this is it.“

“The shrimp used to be sizable, but lately, they have changed to regular sized shrimp. They're still very tasty but there are only four in a meal. A bit disappointing. I realize the cost of everything has risen lately, but I wonder if the extra large shrimp might never return even after the war subsides.“

“The guy who works there is very nice and friendly the food is absolutely delicious and people who are saying it isn’t the same because it is two different cultures the new restaurant is Japanese food the old was Chinese and the Japanese hibachi is insanely good 10/10 all around and the green matcha tea was so so good“

“We tried this hibachi for the first time with our daughter. The atmosphere is always fun, entertaining and silly with the throwing of food and egg cracking. Workers are helpful, and the food was fresh. It can get busy. The only negatives I’d say is for one we asked for medium well for our toddler and the steak was pretty raw. Also, the cooks a little pushy on those who kept saying no and didn’t want to take part.“
