Reviews for POKEMOTO

We stopped in for a quick lunch after visiting the Yale Art Gallery about a block away and had a quick and delicious lunch. The staff was helpful with suggestions and explanations. We were the only people eating there -- the staff was busy filling takeout orders submitted online. One minor thing -- there was no recycling option for our selzer cans. Would recommend and return to this or another Pokemoto location.

Poke was delicious! The servers were generous in their service and even let me taste some sauces before I added them in (one orange/clearish one was spicy and delicious—I forget the name—and I mixed with the miso-mayo, also yummy). I went close to closing but the fish didn’t look bad at all, and tasted good! I usually watch out for poke late at night because their fish can go kind of bad during the day, but definitely not a problem here. Servers were extremely kind.

I've eaten here a couple times in the past few weeks and was very impressed both times. Very good quality sushi and all other ingredients. Only tried Tuna and Salmon but both were extremely tasty. What Chipotle is to Mexican food this place kind of is to sushi. Spicy mayo and wonton chips are two "mix-ins" I had that I'd recommend trying out they complement the typical bowl very well.
