I’ve had this saved in my ‘want to try’ list for some time and was able to finally get there yesterday (7/6). CT just doesn’t have many Cuban restaurants and being a Floridian-born Puerto Rican, I was craving it.

My daughter and I got there just after noon and there was one other couple seated. Sticker on the door indicated this is a black owned restaurant which I was excited to support. The dining room is small, but also intimate. Very beautiful Afro...
It is a really nice little restaurant with a great food selection on the menu, everything tastes delicious and the drinks are excellent as well, especially the cocktails (try their rum punch)! We will absolutely go back again!
We visited on Saturday night and got served immediately. We had lechon asado and fish (cannot remember the name of the dish), p.o.g (juice), coffee, tres leches, and ceviche (on the house because the staff said there'd be delayed on the fish as they're still defrosting it). The lechon asado was juicy and flavourful and the plantains were so tender and sweet. The fish dish was worth the wait although it wasn't that long for us.
