“We ended up at this place on my birthday August 18th because we were trying to get to someplace else but because of the terrible flooding event we saw that this place was open while we were so glad to find it. The food was amazing and the staff was so attentive. We had wings which were amazing, a pretzel that was delicious burgers and steak with chimichurri sauce, all of which were phenomenal. We can't wait to go back and try other items. We will definitely be back. Thank you for being open on such a terrible, tragic day. I hope all of the staff made it home safely.

“I’ve been to a lot of New Milford’s restaurants but I have to say the service at The Abbey was exceptional and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Given how many eateries don’t survive over time; they are the model for a sustaining and thriving food service business. My wife had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, and I had the Chicken Caesar salad. Both were excellent and the portion size and portion per price was very good. Even the water tasted excellent. If I had one complaint it would be that the noise level was a little high, but it is a pub style restaurant where you can watch a game.“

Dave was absolutely amazing the day of the brunch…from set-up until the end! He handled all of our requests, with a big smile on his face to boot! The brunch was delicious. They need some relaxing jazz, Opera, Sinatra etc. However picked the music for an Italian Restaurand, knows nothing about a relaxing atmosphere!!!!“
