“Great pizza. Here's a hint to save a little money, order the village special and hold whatever you don't want (e.g., hamburger). It's less expensive than if you added each of the remaining ingredients separately. Their sauce is on the sweet side, which is nice. The crusts are on the thick side, buttery, and not overdone. “I have ordered delivery from Boardwalk many, many times. I have always placed my order quickly and had friendly service. Not today! I ordered 2 dinners with appetizers and spoke with someone who seemed new. They wouldn't make one of the dinners I ordered, so I chose something else. When asked if I was paying cash or card, I said card. After some discussion with his " boss", I was told I couldn't use a credit card, cash. What?? Always use my card. Something very shady going on over there. Never again“
“My wife and I were told by family members and friends to try Nino's pizzeria so we finally decided to try it and it didn't disappoint the employees were friendly and offered us a sample piece of pizza which was a nice touch. we ended up ordering the garbage pie pizza without mushrooms (don't let the name fool you it isn't garbage) and it was worth the price we paid well worth traveling the extra miles for .we will definitely be going back again and try some of there other menu items I would recommend Nino's Pizzeria to anyone and if you haven't tried them yet you should .“
“Stopped by here randomly with my family (wife & 3 kids) on a trip from NY to Boston .. We ordered a large cheese pizza to go. We were eager to get home so we ate it in the car.. The pizza was excellent. We all loved it.. My wife & kids all claimed that it was the best pizza they've EVER had.. It might not have been the best pizza I've EVER had but it's in the top 5. I actually thought the pizza may have even been a little bit undercooked and it was still phenomenal.. My only gripe was that I didn't order 2 or 3 more pizzas for the road and leftovers. Nana and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and just great to talk to. My boyfriend and I ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken and it filled us both up which is surprising considering my boyfriend eats a lot, but anyways it was delicious, filling, and well priced. We also ordered the tiramisu and fried dough and both were extremely good. We were the only ones dining in there and Nana even threw in some extra fried dough for me. After checking on the availability of options in the Mohegan Sun, we decided against the long wait times and make the 15 minute drive to The Recovery Room. Absolutely worth it! Parking is available and there is a long bar at which you can eat. The waitstaff appears to be all very young, but they are well trained and work very well together to provide delicious food like the Arincini, clam casino pizza and fried calamari that my table shared. “I think of myself as a pretty open minded person. When debating with friends about sports, politics, current events- I always try to respect everyone else's opinions, allow myself to possibly have my mind changed, or agree to disagree sometimes. That being said- there is one debate where I will not give an inch, will not back down, will not be dissuaded or told I am wrong: Supreme has the best grinders- full stop. Every aspect of every grinder I've ever had from them (that number is probably nearing four digits, since I've been coming here since the early 90's) has been flawless. The fresh bread, the meat, the cheese, the crisp shredded lettuce- all comes together to form THE perfect grinder, every single time. I can't think of a single other restaurant where I've never thought, "Eh, not their best." A supreme grinder will hit the spot day in and day out. The grinders aren't the only place Supreme shines though- the pizza is out of this world. Living in southeastern Connecticut, I'm well aware that I'm spoiled when it comes to pizza. Within a stones throw, there are a half dozen excellent options. When I get that craving, though, Supreme is always my top choice. As good as the meals are, half the fun is going to pick it up. Tim, Nick, and the rest of the staff create a friendly, fun, and vibrant atmosphere where something as simple as picking up lunch makes you feel like you're visiting family. “I normally go to the wings and pies in New London but this was my first time visiting this location in Groton. The vibe is much better, all the lights are turned on inside and it feels more like a restaurant. Plus it seems like the staff is completely well focused on making sure orders are getting out. I understand if these are both the same restaurants but I will be going to the Groton location more going forward“

“So, we get takeout from here at least 3-4x per month- and have been for years. Also, we live closer to Tolland so it's about a 50 min drive for us to do this. I can honestly say no one I know has ever had a bad meal/experience here. Never have had to wait over the anticipated time for our order. We have never had an issue where we haven't received everything ordered and they always put our order in a box for easy carrying. The large salads are absolutely on point! The "extras" you can add for a nominal fee are absolutely worth it- as is the grilled or crispy chicken additions. The pizza is always plentiful if you walk in for a slice. Grinders are excellent. I don't understand the only option of seeded bread for toasted sandwiches, but I still enjoy them- although I do wish there were an option. The meatballs are the only meatballs that I've ever eaten in a restaurant that are reminiscent of my now deceased grandmother. In fact, my mother says they taste exactly like her mother's meatballs! I always order a side of balls- and eating one is like a comforting hello from her! The garlic knots- oh the knots- they're...well, no words. Just try them. I'm really into their pasta sauce- and I can honestly say I don't like many restaurants since I always make my own but this one I can eat by the spoonful. It's not too bitter or too sweet! The dessert selection is great! If you're planning to order online, order food only and then when you go in to do the pick up check out the dessert case. There are so many more options in the restaurant than there is online. This is what we always do. There are 2 parts to the restaurant. The pickup quick cafe side and the sit down restaurant side. We don't really ever eat in but it's a cute little Italian place. The cafe portion is busier (in times I've been there) with traffic going in and out- but I have seen people eating in there as well. That side gives me more of a pub/cafe vibe. I don't understand all the crappy reviews. If anything, this place has gotten better with time. The quality of food is great. Food always cooked the way you order it. Pizza isn't undercooked or burned. Chicken is never chewy. Eggplant isn't stringy. Salad is ALWAYS super fresh, as are the toppings. Don't think I've ever gotten one piece of brown or slimy lettuce! It's a 10 from me!“
