As locals we were really excited to try this place, but we left a bit disappointed. The staff were great and the key lime pie was delicious, but the biscuits & lobster with the bisque wasn't great. The bisque tasted like a really good fall pumpkin bisque instead of lobster one and didn't go well with the plate. We will return to try the lobster rolls and give it a second chance. Also the 11 layer cake has a weird burnt flavor that we also didn't like... Go for the key lime!

This place is a 10! The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We had some oysters, tomato plate, lobster roll and street corn. Everything was delicious!

Food over all was very disappointing. I had the grilled squid. It was very fishy not fresh and not grilled but seemed to be poached. It was like rubber. Two of our party had the clear broth clam chowder. One tiny piece of clam was found between the two cups. My wife had the steamers which were OK but how do you screw up steamers. We had an order of lobster corn fritters. No lobster and tasted like a fried corn dough. The only good dish was the wild mushrooms with grits. The view and service was awesome but don't go there for the food.

All around wonderful experience. The fact that the day was sunny with a breeze helped to make this an overall 5. Service was friendly and attentive. Steamers were great, a few with grit but most were sweet and tasty. I don’t eat oysters but those in my group who do said they were good. NE Clam chowder was very good. Could have been slightly thicker but had a great flavor and was seasoned well. Lobster was sweet, tender and juicy. Perfectly cooked. You don’t go to this type of place for their potato salad and coleslaw but they both deserve a mention because they were good, especially the coleslaw, it had a great crunch and was dressed but not dripping in condiments. Special lobster roll was also really good, stuffed with lobster meat. We tried both corns, buttered one was hands down the best, the corn flavor was front and center but also glad we tried the other one. Will definitely return to try more menu options. A perfect New England experience.

Terrible experience. We waited 2h for an order to go. When we finally go it, we had to go back by ourselves in the kitchen because they had forgotten our silverware. After leaving the place, we realized they had forgotten 1/3 of our order, the lobster roll.
I was highly disappointed with the lobster roll when I finally got it. They should call it a lobster slider instead.
WE MISS YOU FORDS.

BEAUTIFUL VIEWS of the Water!! BYOB or order your drinks from local grocery to be delivered via golf cart. Need reservations or expect a wait. We waited 1 hour as walkin - we just took the time to walk the beautiful neighborhood. Sat and had BYO wine by the docks. Watched the boats come in and out. Food was very very good!! Sorry no pics

I was so excited to go Harings as I had been to it’s predecessor ( Fords) many times and was always happy with the meals… And of course, the ambience.
Normally my go to is lobster salad or a hot lobster roll. I mean, what’s the point of having anything else in life but Lobster? Right? ??
So two weeks ago I went for the first time-Of course the atmosphere is beyond comparable and they’ve done a great job decorating. Small changes but noticeable -and they look great.
Everybody who works there is wonderful! So when it came to the food that I ordered-, I was surprised that it didn’t measured up to what I had expected.
When we arrived, we were happily greeted by actually a few different people -everybody’s great there. Everybody has on smiles and they’re sincerely a fabulous staff.
We were seated, handed menus & a nice glass of cold water arrived momentarily for which we were grateful since it was hot out.
I decided instead of doing my normal Lobster routine I’d get out of my comfort zone and order some things off the menu. Just to check it out.
First off- their Cold crab salad is totally scrumptious! ! It cannot be beat. I would get that any day of wk all wk long. Delicate spices accompanied the fresh lumps of crab meat & If I remember correctly- I think mixed in with some sweet red peppers & maybe Little chunks of celery. Whatever it is, it’s delicious! ?
The lobster bisque, unfortunately, was not my cup of tea. I am used to the heavy pinkish cream base laden with lobster. Not everybody does that anymore and this is one of the places that doesn’t mix in the lobster-so I was disappointed there weren’t any chunks of it- in it. And for me- It was too salty. C’est la vie
I then ordered the crab cake-hoping it would come with chunks of crab in it but alas, it was not. You could see there was crab in there, but it was like finely shredded mixed in with an abundance of breadcrumbs. Call me a purist-All I really want in a crabcake is crab!???♀️
On the bright side- The service is impeccable, it is A1. and of course the ambience can’t be beat!
I decided to come back a second time to give it a try again. Because the truth is, the ambience is fabulous and so are the servers!
The second time there was a board that listed the specials. I couldn’t quite see because I’m 64 my eyes aren’t that great anymore so I asked the server to please read it to me and they happily obliged reading that the special was a tomato salad with balsamic reduction & olive oil and some kind of cheese with it. I thought Awesome -tomato salad sounds great.
What arrived was a white dinner plate with four thinly sliced pieces of tomato on it with a delicate size pearl earring -piece of cheese- on each of the 4 pieces of tomato. ? it was surrounded by olive oil and a balsamic reduction. I looked at it and thought “well this isn’t what I thought it was going to be”because I thought I was getting a tomato salad-which to me would’ve been a bowl of chopped tomatoes with a drizzled balsamic reduction and olive oil with some cubed or shredded cheese sprinkled on top.
In this case, those 4 pieces on the plate while completely delicious didn’t warrant the $16 charge for it. I didn’t realize it was going to cost $16 because I didn’t ask when I ordered.? I just heard tomato salad & thought-wow that sounds great. And it was! it was delicious but not with the $16 price tag.??♀️
As I explained to the owner who reached out to me because of my original review -At least put some lettuce under it or maybe put some chopped tomatoes in a bowl make it look like it’s worth $16. Again, it tasted delicious but definitely overpriced for what you get.
So here’s the deal… Definitely go there -I’m actually going back again this week again and this time I’m going to go ba

Unbelievable place. Gorgeous waterfront location with top-notch food. Everything was delicious. Gluten free clam chowder and lobster bisque were a nice treat. Even the kids' chicken fingers were homemade and came with homemade ranch.

We came across this lovely restaurant along the Noank shoreline. The food was consistently fresh and expertly prepared. My wife had an excellent lobster roll, I had very fresh scallops, and fresh corn that tasted like it was just picked. The New England chowder and Rhode Island chowder were excellent. The service staff were particularly friendly and the location was lovely. Can’t wait to return.

We ordered food, when we noticed many tables were open , we asked if we could have a table and they said no. So we ate on my boat. Food was good.
Sat night prime time party of 5. 30 min wait. Grabbed drinks and had a dozen perfect oysters while we waited. All had different mains and were thoroughly enjoyed. In terms of accompaniments, the smoked bluefish dip, potato salad and key lime pie are not to be missed.
Incomparable setting. 10 boats were getting wait service during our visit while in the background others cruised by on the river and we could look out towards the Sound and Fishers Island. Can’t wait to return!

Friendly servers, absolutely amazing vibe - everything feels so coastal grandmother here (in the best way). And the food is much better than your standard lobster shack. Can’t wait to come back!
