I ordered over the phone and picked up 5 sandwiches. 4 were all the same, turkey, cheddar, lettuce, mustard and mayonnaise on whole wheat. I noticed the sandwiches had tomato and told the person to take the tomatoes off. When we unwrapped our sandwiches there was no cheese. Skip this place, they don't listen.

I have now purchased my third food item at the Market. The first time was chicken salad which was lacking in flavor. The second was Thai ginger noodles and they too lacked flavor. The only ginger was in the carrots. I just purchased a salad and found it moldy. I did call and they have offered me a full refund. This will be my last purchase from the deli. The staff is always friendly and helpful. However, aside from chips and cold drinks, their pre-prepared food is old and unchecked and whoever is doing the preparing is not making sure the food has flavor.

This is a very nice cute food store in the heart of Noank village. It's not too far from the Noank town dock, Ford's and Abbot's. When I say cute, I mean cute. It's very Noank-ish. It's very New England-ish. It looks very much like an old fashioned general store. They offer sandwiches, breakfast items, pizza, muffins, coffee, pastries, cookies, snacks. They don't have a lot of pre-made stuff, so almost everything is made-to-order. Behind the counter are items such as stuffed clams, crab cakes, pasta salad, etc... There are tables and chairs inside to relax and enjoy your food. The inside is very inviting. They don't have a lot of stuff on the shelf's, so it's all open and airy. Prices aren't bad. I got a variety of items and nothing I purchased was overly expensive. I suppose if you have friends that don't like seafood, they can grab something here before continuing on to Abbot's or Ford's. I wish the owners lots of luck. This might be a tough spot to stay in business because it's a little off the beaten path. But I suppose if they can tap into the summer tourist crowd, the boat/marina crowd, and the nearby locals in Noank, then they just might make it.
