“Sandwiches here are fresh and a good size, not too expensive. Service is great. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but that's because it's good and worth it!”

“Absolutely wonderful!!! Very clean, spectacular service and always super friendly! ? Ashley, the Manager and the entire team (sorry I do not currently have all of their names- will add/edit once I know them ) are ALWAYS upbeat, smiling and extremely welcoming. They are all totally on top of their game first thing in the morning. When we arrive, they automatically get our favorite order set to go as well as ask if we want to add anything to our “usual.” Truly a delightful way to start the day - they jump start our day in the happiest direction with such warm, friendly and top notch service. Oh, and the coffee and the bagels are perfectly made and always delicious! ? ☕️ ☕️ ?”

“I was in town for one night on business and really wanted something good to eat! Got into town kinda late so I didn’t have many options outside of the chain fast food joints. Not really a fan of pizza but i surely was not in the mood for fast food.So I figured I’d give the brick n basil a try. If I’m gonna eat a pie it’s gotta be cooked by wood fire.Needless to say this place doesn’t disappoint! I ordered a veggie pizza well done and it may have been the best thing I’ve ever eaten! With some crushed reds, minced garlic & granulated garlic and it took it to the next level!Kudos to brick n basil if you’re ever in Norwich CT check em out you won’t regret it”

“Louise and I set out to run some errands in Willi and then get some fast food, but as we approached those familiar arches the sense of impending dread in our souls welled up like an overflowing sewer. "Let's drive down Main Street and see what's open," my wife chimed, so off we went. A few minutes later we quickly spotted Pho Delight, circled around to park, and headed on in. The friendly staff greeted and seated up immediately. Their dining room and bar areas were tidy and comfortable with about a dozen tables, and they were doing a pretty decent business for a cold and rainy Wednesday night. The menu had a familiar mix of Thai dishes, along with a section of soups and various kinds of pho. We decided to keep things familiar for a first visit, ordering appetizers of spring rolls and coconut shrimp, and for entrees a bowl of beef pho and yellow chicken curry, all to share. The appetizers came out quickly and piping hot straight from the fryer. Spring rolls were crunchy with a fresh veggie filling, accompanied by the usual sweet-and-fishy dipping sauce. Coconut shrimp really smelled and tasted like fresh coconut and were also perfectly cooked with a clean shrimpiness; their dipping sauce was a sriracha-infused mayo. The pho was a generous bowl of broth, noodles, scallions, cilantro, and beef slices, with the customary accompaniments of basil, bean sprouts, sliced hot peppers, and a lime wedge. The yellow curry was a rich coconut-milk based sauce swimming with slices of chicken, onions, carrots, and potatoes, along with a side of jasmine rice. Both entrees were simply terrific, executed and seasoned perfectly with a clean, clear mouth feel. Chatting with our server we learned that the restaurant had been here for a few years, but very recently was sold to a new owner who redecorated the dining room and redesigned the menu. That owner, a young man named Sitta, introduced himself and told us of his upbringing in southern Thailand and subsequent graduate studies in China (he speaks English well, along with Mandarin and his native Thai). When I mentioned that it seemed out of place for a Thai restaurant to serve pho, he reassured us that pho is common street food in Thailand, and that their Thai version is generally simpler and has fewer ingredients than Vietnamese pho. I guess you learn something new every day -- in any case, the pho here is delicious and can compete with any similar soup I've ever had. All in all a great experience and we're going to have to dine here again and explore the menu more deeply. Highly recommended... I just hope that success doesn't overwhelm and spoil this little gem.”

“Some boutique business owners think their way of doing things are the best. Even when given constructive criticism, they don't budge... not even... we will look into it... and never do...you don't have to but acknowledging that possibly the input provided was worthy of investigation is probably the right thing..not self righteous talking over the person calling in and basically not listening or even pretending to listen. Some of your clients may not be complaining but would if they thought they could. Offering money back is nice...good job there. Everything else I ever purchased there was very good. I expect that 1 dessert type item at restaurant prices would be delicious...not dry, tasteless, and nothing like the name it was sold as...call it a dry bread roll with a sprinkling of cinnamon and icing to make it edible ... your comment that 1 other person complained that it wasn't like "Cinnabon" just shows your sense of superiority. I never expected it to be like that product, I expected it to be better.”

“Custom order Basil/ Ginger stir fry combo with added mushrooms and broccoli. Broccoli substituted for bell pepper. (Cant eat BP)😊 Jasmine rice with a side of mango sticky rice. 😍 Soooo good ! Light, fresh and healthy, cooked to perfection!! Server was helpful and prompt. Very unassuming place, never would have guessed the quality of food that they serve at this place based on the location and building. Probably the best asian food Ive ever eaten! Ever!! Not soggy, over cooked or over sauced. Flavours were natural and healthy tasting. Sooo good! My first time here and I will definitely be going back again to try more of their menu choices. I'm sure they're going to be just as good. Family owed a run! The chef is the owner. Can't ask for anything more! Definitely recommend this place !”

“This place, named after the local stream of my youthful watering holes, is still glorious. The beer selection, which you can monitor on Digital Pour the app, has some tasty selections. My wife enjoyed one of my personal favorites, Back East's Ice Cream Man. I savoured the foggy/hazy Abomination Ale's Wandering Into the Fog.Our server was very courteous and checked in; we nodded our approval of all the meals. My wife had the Salmon Burger, which she pronounced "very good." Son, the magician, made his Fenton Burger and Fries disappear (up his sleeve?) and my Pastrami Reuben was delicious. A lovely meal, made extra special by a son turning 32! Time flies, but time here was well spent!”
