“We had an outstanding soup to nuts dinner tonite on the deck. The food & service were outstanding. Family run& treated us like family. Fresh fish & everything made to our liking. Chef came out to personalize our needs. Not your ordinary diner! This was quality food & preparation. Can’t wait to come back!“

“So glad there’s a cute old diner with lots of vegan and gluten free options! The tempeh tacos were excellent! The staff were probably ready for us to leave because we have four neurodivergent kids, some with high needs in certain settings, so we certainly were not quiet. We ate inside not being offered outside options. It appears they have a patio in the back, so we would have done better there. Luckily most of the kids ate their grilled cheese and my friend loved her salad. We don’t live close do you probably won’t see us again, but I highly recommend the diner despite the dirty looks from staff.“

“We happened to stumble into Elm Diner by chance, and what a find it turned out to be. The moment we walked in, the bright, welcoming atmosphere and spotless space immediately stood out. Then came Nicole, our waitress, greeting us with a genuine smile that made us feel like we’d been coming there for years.
The menu is impressively extensive, offering something for everyone. When our salad arrived, it was fresh, crisp, and generous just like the rest of the meal. Our dishes were flavorful and satisfying.
Nicole was exceptional, and the entire staff added to the experience with their friendliness and energy. There’s a real sense of camaraderie here that you don’t find everywhere.
If you’re anything like me, this place will set the bar for every diner you visit afterward. Every once in a while, you come across a restaurant that truly has it all, and Elm Diner is that rare gem.
Do yourself a favor and go experience it.

“I usually Don’t write food reviews but I’m fat sooooo….Ever have those tacos that claim to be a meal but eat like a snack , making you scramble to hit Dunkin afterwords for a coffee and a donut just because it doesn’t do it for you. So check these out ,Tacos that eat like a meal and it taste like the good lord himself is doing a flavor Harlem shuffle in yo mouth. Teddy B's Restaurant . Always leave room in your heart for these tacos! These would bring our country into Harmony, lowering crime rates, anonymous postings and sign thefts! Even in Lil ole’ Bethany. Noooo Doubt! “One of my top 3 favorite Diners in CT. Grew up in 80-90s going here. Still go back on occasion and it never disappoints. That spinning Desert cabinet was always the favorite of the table!“
