“Love love love this place. I have spent so many hours hanging out here. In the morning it’s so fun to come sit on the couch and read a book — the coffee is delicious! And the coffee menu is really cool and fun. Any latte here is a win. And Hanna is the most incredible and friendliest barista!! It’s also a really fun vibe in the afternoon to come for a beer and hangs. They have vegetarian options for food usually and a great food truck outside. I am all about aesthetic and this place crosses all the t’s and dots all the i’s. My new go-to spot!!“

“Great spot to grab some excellent beer from a variety of onsite brewers. Great model to help smaller brewers get things started, but more so a really fun taproom and biergarten. Nice open space with comfortable couches and bar seating. A few tables inside as well but a ton of seating on a deck and at patio tables inside the parking lot. Hard to say what they specialize in since the breweries and styles change, but my favorites are hazy IPAs and imperial stouts, and they are amazing here from Abomination to Evil Twin to False Hope to Tox to Fat Orange Cat. Midweek pizza is available and it’s delicious. Weekends bring a food truck which as always can be hit or miss.“

“It took a long time to get our order, it was very busy.. The building was hot. Either the air conditioner was broken or they didn't have one or use it.. They made the bagels on location, so they were very fresh. The best bagels i have had in a long time and a lot of varieties.

One thing i did notice is that one of the male workers (i think he was a cook) was grabbing the bagels with his bare hands. They could have been clean or just washed, but i saw him do it two different times. The others workers were either using plastic gloves or the tissue paper to grab them.“

“Was visiting New Haven last weekend (from Brooklyn) and had the pleasure of eating at Olmo not once, not twice, but three times!! For breakfast, every morning of my visit. The bagels so good, the menu so mouthwatering, the people so kind and welcoming— I couldn’t stay away! And I’m still thinking about it a week later…

The first morning I got the Hot Pastrami. It is, and i cannot stress this enough, DELICIOUS! A generous helping of pastrami—rivaling that of Katz Deli—paired with a mind-blowingly yummy spinach-artichoke schmear and some pickled onions sandwiched between a sesame seed bagel. Cannot recommend enough.

The next morning I had to try a new schmear (the schmear selection is thrilling). I went with beet and dill veggie on an onion bagel. Crunchy, refreshing, sweet. Yum.

I am a creature of habit so, despite my desire to try the basil feta schmear, the third morning I went with the Hot Pastrami again. Turns out lightning can strike twice, it was just as delish the second time.

This is a place that clearly loves their clientele and their craft. They were communicative, efficient, and so friendly. You immediately feel welcome. A must visit for any bagel lover who finds themself in New Haven!!“

“I had an amazing opportunity to cater a wedding of two great friends at The Brewery. I don't have enough great things to say about the place. The building and its grounds are amazing, the brewery its self is gorgeous. Attention to detail is above par in all aspects. The Brewery room and tap room one of the best i've seen. The upstairs in sophisticated and approachable. The husband and wife owners are wonderful and they way they attend to their guests and bar none. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed and their beer is AWESOME“

“We went to Micro Creamery this weekend and it was delightful! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the ice cream. Good customer service is hard to find these days! The ice cream was delicious! They had several flavors to choose from. It was hard to decide on just one. The atmosphere is modern and cute! You can take a selfie pic with family and friends by the Ice Ice Baby back drop. Def recommend! We will be back! 😊“

“A friendly staff at Caius Farm Brewery serve a wide variety of excellent craft beer, including IPAs, lagers, pilsners, kolsch, sours and stouts in a beautiful top room with a scenic outdoor patio. They also offer wine and sodas. In the taproom you can enjoy some fresh popcorn or a meal from a local food truck. You should definitely take a trip to Branford. I have yet to drink a beer I didn't love.“

“Have to admit, one of the best pizza I have had in a long time. And the Caesar salad is to die for. The ambiance is superb especially sitting outside just across the street from the beach. But there’s no reason we should wait for over an hour for pizza. I mean - it’s just pizza. It shouldn’t take more than 20 mins to make. even on a Friday night. “Stowe’s never disappoints! Great food. Friendly staff. We went there with a party of 7 and were the first customers of the day after a school graduation. They start taking orders at 11am and everything was fresh and made perfect to order. As always we will absolutely return again. Hands down the best seafood in West Haven!“

“There is no doubt that Gouveia is photographer’s dream, and as full-time wedding photographers, we have captured engagements and even surprise proposals here on the beautiful property. Whenever a client asks about a nice view in the hills, a vineyard or winery, something that feels almost like Europe, we tell them we should go here! We love how much the owners and staff allow us to use the property with ease. The scenic vineyard looks like a perfect set was constructed for us, and the long leading lines of the rows and driveway all help our captures. We love going by the pond with couples, too, making it feel even more like we have transported to somewhere that isn’t Connecticut. It’s never a problem having other visitors there, or being able to hide and then catch the moment the proposal is happening. You can blend in and then pop out with any family or friends to the jubilant couple, moving right into the engagement session on the perfect property for it. Sunsets are always because of the clouds, and if you hit the right evening, it can be unforgettable here. The couples all grab some glasses at some point as well and love the offerings Gouveia has in all regards. “I've been here a few times and each time I leave happy. The drinks I order always have a good amount of tapioca pearls. It's also nice that you can adjust the sweetness and type of milk. The drinks are made quickly even with the large crowd that was in there at the time I was there. I ordered the Thai tea with tapioca pearls, oat milk, 30% sugar and it was delicious!“
