China Moon is a "New York Style" takeout restaurant that literally looks, feels, and tastes like it was lifted from NYC and placed in Norwalk. The outside and the inside don't look great, but the food is awesome. The restaurant even has those faded, backlit menu pics, a staple of NYC takeout restaurants. Customers praise the quick service and friendly staff, with food arriving hot and tasting fresh every time. Many enjoy the classics like General Tso's, Sesame, and Orange Chicken, which are crispy outside and juicy inside. The fried chicken wings with pork fried rice are especially popular, described as nice and fresh, with the rice being awesome. Some find the overall experience just "blah," but still appreciate the reasonable prices and quick delivery. The noodle dishes, like lo mein, are tasty, and the chicken fried rice with vegetables is highly recommended for its large portion and good flavor. While the steamed vegetable dumplings are doughie and less liked, the restaurant offers a good, affordable option for quick and delicious Chinese food.
