Delicious, but they either gave me the white people sauce or their jerk sauce is more like BBQ jerk. Still very good, just sweeter than I expected. Made me realize I had a sore throat so it's actually better this way hahaha. Came with an extra cup of BBQ sauce so you can decide how much extra you want. Prices are very good considering it comes with "free" sides, just think of it the sides as part of the cost and it's way cheaper than other places that are as good in the area....read full review
I personally can not wait for them to come to south Norwalk!! I've had them when they were located in the plaza area but I'm ready for them to move closer to my yard !!! Hurry up & open so I can come every single day & go broke !!! Thank you
Tropical Island Spice is a restaurant that offers a variety of dishes, including Jamaican Combo, Salmon, Oxtails, Goat, and rice and peas. The oxtails and gravy are tender and flavorful, while the rice and peas have a nice hint of coconut milk. The goat is tasty but can be over-salted, and the salmon can be overcooked at times. The cabbage is a must-try, as it is amazing. The restaurant has a clean and well-laid-out space with a good vibe, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant also hosts events such as Bob Ross painting parties and DJ nights. Overall, the food is delicious, and the portions are fair for the price. It is definitely worth a visit.
