I live nearby so I'm in there often. The staff has always been helpful, they carry a wide array of different gemstones, beads, and fossils, and prices aren't bad. i bought a beautiful stone I was expecting to be close to a hundred dollars for less than $20. i highly recommend.
Side note: The mini golf course is VERY challenging. I was an "age restriction" complainer until I played it. It's very beautiful though.
We have been coming here for several years. The kids always have a great time! The staff does a super job of setting up for the festivities. During the summer the splash pad is a big hit. Love that you can bring in your own food. It’s a great and easy place to take the young ones.
My son (9yo) had a great time at Discovery Depot. He dug for gems in the mine, panned for gold & picked out 2 geodes. Special thank yous to Victoria who helped him pick out the geodes & opened them & Brandon in the gem shop who spent an hour talking to my son about geodes. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable & kind.
