The hubby chose bee & thistle as a surprise for our anniversary celebration dinner tonight! (2/1/20) What a superb authentic traditional New England inn. It was lovely and quiet with many romantic comfy little nooks to tuck into. The fireplaces were all lit throughout and we were seated on the patio area immediately upon arrival. Open Table reservation, seated immediately. Nice wine and cocktail list with imaginative creations. The food menu was not the menu reflected online. Smoked trout appetizer had a lot of nicely flavored trout. My Sweet Potato gnocchi had a great flavor and texture, with lot of flavorful mushrooms. Large portions. It's crazy to me that this is the first review I've written for The Bee. I have been going to the Bee for probably around 8 years now, and I got married there in 2018! It's a remarkable venue, stunning grounds and wonderful food! The staff are so welcoming and it's a pleasure seeing familiar faces every time I visit! We celebrate engagements, graduations, birthdays and everything in between at the Bee because we KNOW we'll have a wonderful meal and make lovely memories. Ok wedding...read full review
