I had the medium-size pepper steak and had plenty left over for a second meal.Parking: Parking is free, but very limited. Most grab and go, so spots open fairly quickly.“

“It was my first time here. I was very impressed. I ended up getting my lunch and my dinner all at the same time. However, I just sit in the car and eat my lunch was phenomenal. “Visited this establishment on 4-11-24 based on the rave reviews, and I must admit, the food was delicious. I had a large jerk chicken dinner and was concerned that my eyes were bigger than my stomach, based on the large portion of food I received. The chicken was nice and moist and perfectly seasoned. I didn’t get the jerk sauce on the dinner, I requested it on the side. I must admit that I did not use the sauce because the chicken was succulent all by itself. The rice and peas and cabbage were also good. I don’t normally eat Jamaican patties because the breading is too thick. I bought a patty and ate it on the way home. I was mad at myself for not tasting it prior to leaving the establishment because I wanted another one. ?The breading was nice and thin and the filling was delicious. Needless to say I had plenty leftover food for later. I will be patronizing this restaurant regularly. I look forward to trying other dishes on their menu. Hands down, one of the best Jamaican restaurants I’ve ever had.“

“This place was absolutely amazing. I ordered the jerk chicken with jollof rice and it was so delicious. My friends ordered the goat egusi with fufu and said it was also so good. Our waitress even taught them how to eat it because they never had it before and she was so nice in general. I highly recommend this place for the delicious food and quality service!“

“We live about 30 mins away and wanted to try a Bridgeport Caribbean Restaurant. We chose this restaurant because of google reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The large food portions could easily feed 2 adults or 3 kids. We ordered the escovitch fish, curry goat and brown stew chicken. All were extremely tasty. I must also note that the curry goat was mostly meaty unlike most places that give mostly bones. Thank you, we'll be back.Dietary restrictions: They have good nondairy options for starches. The food is very tasty and plentiful.“

“I personally took the trip 45 minutes away to get the oxtails from this place but last Friday I went there and I ordered my usual but I got the Rasta pasta I added shrimp omg I ate it the next day it still was fantastic I recommend everyone who lives here to eat there and plus there friendly.“

“I found this truck back in 2021 and it's been one of my favorites since. I love taking a hike in East Rock Park and then finishing with a large portion of jerk chicken with rice, beans and cabbage. I get it with sauce on the chicken and oxtail gravy on the rice, everything is super flavorful and fragrant. Sanny is one of the nicest people and it's part of the reason I love supporting this truck. The sauce she makes is amazing and it's so good when you mix the spicy and sweet sauces together. The portions are huge, one large portion is about three meals for me. A real gem in CT!“

“I think it's because I'm shy that the owner seemed a little stand-offish, but I have to say her food is amazing. The jerk salmon and rice is the first thing I had and it's going to be my go-to dish. The restaurant is clean, it has a very modern cozy look to it with lots of light coming in. It's bright, spacious and welcoming. People have enough room or their company without feeling awkward about their personal space being invaded. The portions match the price as well. Overall, it's immaculate, people need to go here.“

“Amazing experience! The portion was a great size for the price which I always worry about with food trucks. Great amount of meat and it lasted me about two meals. I made the mistake of not getting a drink and it was a little spicy so I got back in line and I'm glad I did! The Hibiscus Sorel was amazing and refreshing. Pretty sweet but a nice treat. I ordered and got my food very quickly. I hope to see the truck again soon!“
