“The Thai Place is my favorite Thai restaurant in CT, and I've been to Thai restaurants all over CT and all over New England. They have a pretty standard menu and execute the classics very well. My favorite is their lemongrass chicken, not typically found on the menu at other Thai restaurants. It is excellent. The massaman curry is also excellent - great flavor, the sauce coats the ingredients well (at many restaurants it is too watery), and the veggies are even crinkle cut! Also love the crab rangoons. A bit of a warmer vibe than other Thai restaurants, and the staff is very friendly. I've never had a bad experience. We used to live close by but have since moved - and we make sure to stop whenever we travel through Putnam!“
“Food is always great. They do not really like to cater to allergies. I asked for no egg in my fried rice. They told me no because that is pre-made, but I could have white rice. (The whole point of hibachi is getting fried rice with your meal). Sushi is always good. Staff is always nice.“
“Food, service and atmosphere here are amazing. I go here very frequently for their Pho. I’ve gotten Pho at quite a few restaurants in the New England area and Thai Chili Pho is by far the best. I’ve tried some of their other dishes as well and none of them have disappointed! They’re also very fairly priced for the quality of food. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good Thai food or good pho! Also, the amount of cars in the parking lot does not accurately reflect the amount of people in the restaurant, so don’t let that deter you!“
