A good solid local place to hit up for Thai. Had the squash chicken curry. Very tasty! Waitstaff friendly, good, clean atmosphere. Decorated nicely. Tuesday's 15% off. I went there many years ago and it was still just as great then as it is now. I drove 45 min to get lunch and was worth it.

The Thai Place is my favorite Thai restaurant in CT, and I've been to Thai restaurants all over CT and all over New England. They have a pretty standard menu and execute the classics very well. My favorite is their lemongrass chicken, not typically found on the menu at other Thai restaurants. It is excellent. The massaman curry is also excellent - great flavor, the sauce coats the ingredients well (at many restaurants it is too watery), and the veggies are even crinkle cut! Also...read full review
