“My parents enjoyed lobster rolls to celebrate their 71st wedding anniversary today. Loved listening to my Dad talk about his memories of the Stand opening in 1937. His family lived across the street and he said his oldest sister was allowed to take his older brother to get a free ice cream cone they were giving out all day. He was only 5 at the time and had to wait till his Dad got home from work to go get his. He also said he remembers there were service windows all the way around the stand and that day all the windows were busy all day long. Would recommend any and everything they serve. If it wasn’t great, it would never have survived this long.“

“Great food, coffee, and service! The Vanilla Bean is also Vegan friendly, offering Vegan cold foam and an assortment of Vegan coffee flavors. I was told that they can make vegan pancakes and French toast, breakfast potatoes with veggies, and fruit! The vibes on the patio were perfect for breakfast! We definitely will be coming back!“

“First visit to oxfords casual dining this past weekend in Oxford and absolutely not our last. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our waitress was super busy but took good care of us. Also got to enjoy some great music from The Drunken Uncles.“

“We stayed here for 2 nights with another couple. Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly when we asked for more coffee and during check in and check out. There were a couple weddings going on so the lounge was kind of busy. I believe they were short handed too but the food was good. We enjoyed our stay but wished that the other restaurant in the hotel had been open.“

“We needed to host a wedding rehearsal dinner in an area we weren't familiar with at all, since we live in another state. I googled places in the area and saw Teddy G's that looked interesting with their menu. I immediately emailed Ted and he got right back in touch. I had no idea about planning this dinner, but Ted was very knowledgeable and helped us out immensely. We are definitely satisfied with how everything turned out and everyone enjoyed. They are great for dining in as well as take out and the food is always so good and never disappoints. The menu has something for everyone and they are very accommodating of food allergies too. “I haven’t been here in several years, but I stopped in last week with my 87-year-old mom who recently had extensive oral surgery. I was trying to figure out which menu items would be easy for her to enjoy. Our server was so kind and compassionate and helpful. Once we made a decision, she went right into the kitchen and discussed the situation with the cook so he was aware how soft the food needed to be for my mom. My mom’s meal came out perfect and our lunch was far more than I could have expected! Thank you Judith and the cook, we will be back this week.“

“This is hard… because I like the people service is slow… to slow. They need a second bartender to handle the restaurant area in peak times. I was there this past week. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings. After a long wait… the chicken sandwich was served hot and tasty. The onion rings were cold. Pasty as if they’ve been out of the frier for 30 minutes. Come on guys… step it up. We like your business.“
