“Nice place in the growing Putnam downtown. Inside an old railway station, it's decorated with local railroad signs and such. The help staff is great and well attended. They were at our table even with the waitress going on break another came with our main entree. Both were nice and brought us extra napkins and checked in periodically. We had Short Rib Poutain for an appetizer. It was very cheesy and had a good portion of pork and gravy. My wife and I both had fish and chips. The chips here are homemade potato chips and there is so many we left some. Very filling. Third time in five years and gets better.“

That's the best description I can come up with, so fi you love your burgers with fried eggs, you'll love this.I love seeking out places that have tasty burgers in my travels, whether it's a food truck or a restaurant, and I can now add New York Pizza Company to my list. Also the nacho chips and cheese dip were equally delicious. I said, "I wish I was an octopus with two heads and a second stomach!" I wanted to snarf down everything on my plate, it was sooo darn good!! The icing on the cake was waddling like a stuffed penguin back to the car, as I was left full and satisfied. “I was in Dayville and I was starving. I stopped into Railside Tavern and loved the welcome and the look. Huge menu, lots of seafood, beef, and pasta choices, big plus, angel hair is an option. I got the chicken picata w/ angel hair, lots of capers, no artichoke hearts. Served very hot, juicy with plenty of lemon sauce, I liked it, chicken was slightly over cooked. I then had a cup of lobster bisque, it was very good, great broth and lots of ground lobster, no chunks but obviously lots of ground lobster, yummy! For desert I had the special offering of apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Of course, awesome!! If you're in the area or passing through, definitely check out Railside Tavern, I'm still happily stuffed!!“
“Our first visit. What a lovely little cafe! It was busy on this Sunday afternoon but we got a table. Staff are very friendly. There is local art all over and some for sale. They serve local soda and use locally grown food and meats where possible. On Saturdays you might catch some live music.We ordered a bison burger which was cooked correctly and tasted good. A pastrami Reuben which was delicious. They said it’s their most ordered sandwich. Had the “award winning” chili. It was good. It was fresh but not much spice. You can add hot sauce to it like I did. I also had a fish wrap, one of the daily specials. I didn’t care for it. The haddock was flaky and yummy but the Thai sauce didn’t go with the fish in my opinion and it was messy to eat. I ended up unfolding the wrap and eating just the fish with a fork.“
“Had this amazing Rubin pizza here, I’ve always loved the pizza at Mill Town but this one was over the top great. I highly recommend you get in there to try this one while it’s around. This is the type of place where everyone is family and no matter what your having throw one or two of their hotdogs on the side, you won’t regret it.“
“I've Driven by lots of times but never had the opportunity to try one of their Hotdogs but I finally got to stop by and get a dog and I got 2 of the Chili dogs w/ cheese and man did it hit the spot . Great people and great service. Would definitely recommend giving this small local dog shack a try!!Parking: Plenty of space, lots of room. The same parking lot has been used in the winter for xmas tree sales in the past.“

“We came here on a whim one night, the fish and chips were amazing! Thin batter, not greasy at all, and high quality fish! We also started with a salad which was great and homemade dressing I believe! Also friend calamari which is hard to get around here, very good! “Everything was great. My only disappointment is that the macaroni salad in the salad bar has been changed to a different brand. This happened in the past 6 or 8 months. (I was really partial to the original.) The potato salad was more undercooked than usual. The 2 kinds of soup were superb, per usual. ??Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible to the bar, salad bar, restrooms, and one dining room. The larger dining room, that's only open when busy enough to warrant it, has a few stairs.“
