I have completely edited this review. I visited immediately after it transitioned to new ownership and things were very discombobulated, and I gave it a poor review. Just visited now, a month or so later, and things have much improved. Service was quick and friendly, pastries and bagels look great, and most importantly, the previous whitefish recipe is back!If you're used to gloppy cream-of-wheat consistency whitefish, please come try this one. Steve's Bagels, under new ownership, has made significant improvements since its transition. Service is now quick and friendly, and pastries and bagels look great. The restaurant has retained its popular whitefish recipe, which is chunky, smoky, and oniony. Other menu items, such as a hybrid cinnamon roll/muffin pastry, are also delicious. The bagel selection features a phenomenal option, with a planned addition of smoothies and extended hours to 5pm. While some reviewers have mixed opinions on the bagels, the restaurant has shown potential and is worth a visit to try its unique offerings.
