Baked sweet potato was over cooked ,very mushy. Prime rib was just ok. Nothing great.

Never had a bad meal at Chucks, my steak was cooked to perfection and the shrimp cocktails are huge, stuffed mushrooms were delicious, I am a customer for life

I got food poisonings from this steak house. Very sick, $106 pd for raw steak, food was cold. Had no main waiter, complained to person handling salad bar that the coleslaw was spoiled, she said nothing. A man sick, coughing and sneezing behind us used his bare hands to slice bread at salad bar. We never got our steaks back when asked to cook them well done. We asked for help but no one came. I was not going to pay the bill, but another waitress said you ate your food. They took our plates away and never came back. I paid bill, left then called them up to speak to a manager, never came to phone. Overnight, my son and I were very sick over the salad bar items for sure. I called again two days after we were there, the manager answered. Her response we will make it right the next time. I told her I wanted my money back for at least the steaks and potato. I explained we both got sick on salad bar items for sure because we had no meal. They took it back to cook it but never came back. Her response, the lady who handles the salad bar speaks no English. I was shocked that she tried to blame it on her. The manage took no ownership. Worst experience ever had with a steak house. Recommendation Texas Roadhouse or Outback

Went there for my wife's birthday. We had the Salad Bar, Escargot, and Prime Rib. Great Salad Bar and it was the best Prime Rib we have had in a long time. Definitely will be going back.
What happened? This at one time was just amazing. I loved their cold salad bar. The selections were plentiful. Now? Not so much, overpriced and the food was just OK. I don't think I'll be back again. Sorry to say it was one of my favorite Rocky Hill eateries. It's a shame, it used to be "The Steakhouse" to eat at.

The bartenders tonight were truly superb. From the moment my girlfriend and I got to our seat we felt like we were at home. The people behind the bar knew exactly what they were doing and even with a busy environment, They always checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely going back. Such a great time. Thank you for hiring such great employees

Wow!!!! What a nostalgic experience this was! Just as amazing as I remember when I was a kid, my mom used to take us to the Darien location, which unfortunately has now closed. I believe that's where my love ❤️ for salads ?started - FRESH!! Is the best way to describe it. There are lots of options to choose from almost a meal in itself. Fresh bread that you slice yourself. Forgot to take pictures but I had a salmon dish which was perfectly cooked my friend had a steak dish which is also cooked perfectly.. huge shout out to Chuck's. I can't wait to come back, although it's a bit out of my area, definitely worth the drive. I'll be back for sure

Had a $47.00 prime rib that was soooo tough you couldn’t chew it!!! Manager didn’t take it off bill, gave a free dessert!!!Unacceptable!!!

Classic steakhouse, reasonable prices, excellent salad bar, and solid service. Absolutely worth the trip. Try the Irish Nachos and Prime Rib!
