“The food is pretty good and authentic. Wide array of options that you can’t find in Ct. Clean and tidy establishment. Nice presentation of the food. Love that they have sauces at the table like pepper flakes, chili oil and fish sauce just to name a few. I’ve had the pho, papaya salad, and larb. Love that they have a Laos or Thai style option of the papaya salad. The waitress is also the hostess and she is very sweet and attentive. The only criticism I have is I asked them to not put sugar in the food but it came out sweeter than my liking. I prefer more spicy and sour. But I still give them 9/10 and I would definitely recommend and I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu 😊“

“Probably the first Thai food I've ever had, and I remember thinking it's so delicious. I've been to Pad Thai many times, and expect to go back again. One time, there was a big group of us and they were willing to rearrange the tables to accommodate us. They're very flexible and friendly.“

“Haven’t been to the restaurant yet, just placed an online order for delivery. I ordered the tofu noodles, scallion pancakes, and Thai iced tea. And WOW it was delicious. I live in New Haven and get Thai food fairly often but it’s not often I am this impressed. The scallion pancakes alone are easily the best I’ve ever had. Just so rich and flavorful. And the tofu in the soup was perfectly tender, with the soup having a nice spicy flavor to it but also not too intense. I’m hoping to head to the actual restaurant now after such a delicious meal. “After seeing a movie down the street, my family and I came to Oriental Gourmet for dinner. There was plenty of seating and the restaurant had a classic, retro vibe. We were impressed that they had so many different Asian cuisines to choose from! For our first visit we stuck primarily to Chinese food, but it’s good to know they have sushi too. Almost every dish was good, but my mom didn’t really love her Mongolian beef and said it had a weird grittiness to it. Our server was attentive and they refilled our waters often. Not a bad spot!“
