“Zaytoon Lebanese Restaurant in West Hartford with Ty. My first experience with Turkish coffee and it was superb. It's strong just like New Orleans coffee and Right up my alley. Our server was attentive, courteous, and efficient. He had a smile and a pleasant personality and was very helpful with the ordering. The food was hot and delicious. The lamb was a gift from the Greek gods. It was tender and seasoned and most flavorful with no gamey aftertaste. Everything you would want from a Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurant.“

“These guys have the best gyros and kibbeh around. Not to mention the super tender pieces of lamb in their Mediterranean Bean stew or savory pieces of chicken in their curry. The prices could be twice as much, the brothers running the shop could be absolute jerks, and the food would still be worth it. The fact that neither of those things is true is just icing on top. All the commendations Tangiers receives are well deserved!“

“We stopped By Sam’s because my 6 year old was in a trance by the smell coming from the door. The decor was enough of a reason to eat here. But the food was FANTASTIC. My son has never had gyro meat before and he was shocked to learn he loved it. My daughter actually ate a TON which is impressive. The servings were also a great size for the price. We will certainly return and recommend to others!“

“Much more consistent preparation and fresher ingredients than most of the local options. It's too bad they don't offer their own delivery, the upcharge to use a third party service is unfortunate.“

“First time in CT, Visiting a friend. This place was a great experience. I had the salmon avocado Benedict and mango mimosa. Both were delicious! My friend and I were catching up so the service was spot on - perfectly timed without much interruption. Exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended!“
