It's cute&clearly very popular during weekday lunch, on a pedestrian only street with potential but... of the 5 sandwiches 2 were very bland, the tuna wasn't warm or cheese melted, but one was good my son said, & one was the smallest pb&j my 6y had ever seen! My mom got the sweet potato bowl & it was small& disappointing in flavor. “I visited At The Dam for breakfast with my 4-year-old son this morning. It was our first time here, and I already can’t wait to go back. We were warmly greeted by one of the waitresses, and both she and the other waitress, who I believe is one of the owners, were so friendly and attentive while we were there. Our food came out quickly and it was both fresh and delicious. The corned beef hash is outstanding! We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience this morning, and it’s a place our family will visit time and time again.“

“I went to Monet on a Saturday for brunch and it was the most amazing and unique experience. It's beautiful and lovely from the moment you drive up to the place. Once we walked inside we saw that there were a few tables open and we were seated immediately. The waitress and hostess were so friendly and kind. The menu had lots of delicious options but I went with a class brunch meal of eggs, potatoes, bacon, and bread. The food arrived shortly after and it was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. I'm excited to go back and try more food on their menu!P.S. “This was my first visit to Chuck Wagon. Everyone says it's a great breakfast spot and everyone is correct. When I walked in, I immediately knew breakfast was going to be good. It has that great breakfast vibe. There are booths, tables and a counter with stools for seating. We sat ourselves at a table and were immediately greeted, given menus and asked if we wanted a coffee or something else to drink. The waitresses are all "seniors" and fit the breakfast waitress stereotype to the T. The tables and coffee cups have local advertising on them. So great. The breakfast menu is extensive, with eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches and combination plates. There's something for everyone. I am celiac. The waitress understood immediately and offered GF bread or toast. I had a Reuben omelet with the GF toast and a side of bacon. The GF toast is toasted in the same toaster as the regular bread but that doesn't affect me so I had the toast. It came buttered and the little jelly packets are on each table. It was GREAT. The bacon was crisp and thick. Very good. The omelette was large and well stocked with corned beef, cheese, sauerkraut and dressing. Excellent. My daughter had French toast with strawberries. The French toast was thick and well cooked. The strawberries were previously frozen but still very good. She also had a breakfast sandwich which was cooked perfectly and delicious as well. She also got a chocolate milk which was very chocolatey and large! The waitress came by multiple times to refill my coffee which is one of my checkpoints for a good breakfast spot. My coffee should always be full and hot during breakfast, and it was! If you're in Ellington , you need to check out the Chuck Wagon. It's a winner.“

“So I went back and forth between 3 star and 4 stars. Small business have it tough already competing with larger business' so I gave 4 stars. Service was great waitress was attentive and nice. I was not happy with my food I got the eggs benedict. Sauce was light almost non existent and if it was not for the salt and hot sauce I would not have ate it. Only thing they did well is poaching egg so that it was runny but they need some more seasoning and better hollandaise sauce. Also, the potatoes were wet not sure if it was water or oil but a little weird and also tasteless.“
“We visited Wahlburgers after a day out at the museums in Sprinfield. We went around 5 pm on a Wednesday and we were seated right away. We ordered the tots trio from the recommendation of the waiter and were very happy with it. We split it between 3 adults and one child and it felt like way more than enough. The tots themselves were well made and all 3 in the trio had great flavor from the toppings. We ordered the Mac and cheese with fries for the kids. My 5 and 7 year old who don't eat much were able to split it happily. I personally ordered the Fiesta burger and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it did not come out medium. The pickles and jalapeños complimented each other nicely. My other half ordered the "our burger" medium (a true medium) and added carmelized onions instead of regular onions. It was also good, however I would recommend ordering thr tomato on the side so your bottom slice of bread doesn't come out soggy like hers did. In addition, we ordered the birthday cake adult shake which was wonderfully thick. Overall, it was good food, quick and friendly service, and reasonably priced. Definitely would go back if we lived in the area.Parking: There was paid parking in the front on the street, but I am pretty sure there was also a free parking lot in the back.“

I shared the burger, so they had cut in 2 and put it 2 different plates .. that was so good … usually I have requested to cut the burger in half.. many restaurants have denied it outrightly. Chicken wings are really good and worth every penny.. “Ok so I wasn't sure about this place but dang! The wings were ON point! Super crispy and flavorful - we got the teriyaki and lemon pepper dry rub. That Lemmon pepper was awesome with great flavor. Service was friendly and attentive. The inside is nice and looks recently Renovated. We found the prices to be very fair. He had a burger and I had a steak salad which was huge with a lot of tasty steak and huge chunks of blue cheese. We will return.“
