“I never ever write reviews, but this place was outstanding and deserves it. My fiance and I went to a comedy night this past Friday. It was our first time going there, even though we live 6 min down the road.(I know, we've been missing out!) The bar staff was amazing in explaining the various types of wine, even allowing sampling before purchasing a glass. I've been to many wineries and the food/snacks are always overpriced. I love that you can purchase snacks here at a reasonable price AND they allow you to bring your own food-so fun! The atmosphere was cozy and just so beautiful. The show was great, we didn't stop laughing the entire time. We also met Toby and chatted with Karen and her husband,Larry? I believe. They gave us a quick history of how the winery came to be and they just seemed like the most genuine, nicest people ever. (Toby was the main attraction though!) We can't wait to go back again soon and try more wines/beers and join in the events that take place. It's such a beautiful, friendly place that is so welcoming. if you haven't been, run! Thank you everyone for the amazing experience.“

“Zaytoon Lebanese Restaurant in West Hartford with Ty. My first experience with Turkish coffee and it was superb. It's strong just like New Orleans coffee and Right up my alley. Our server was attentive, courteous, and efficient. He had a smile and a pleasant personality and was very helpful with the ordering. The food was hot and delicious. The lamb was a gift from the Greek gods. It was tender and seasoned and most flavorful with no gamey aftertaste. Everything you would want from a Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurant.“

A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . “I had dinner here a month ago and it was the best Thai compared to surrounding towns. Service is friendly and the owner makes you feel like family! Portions are large enough for two. Came again tonight and ordered pad see ew and it was delicious! Brought my family and everyone wiped plates clean. Can’t wait to come back and and bringing more friends and family.“

I usually get the enchiladas huertenas because I can't decide if the mole, red sauce, or green sauce is better; they are all equally wonderful. “I’ve been to Ichiban many times and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Hartford. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, the food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is laid back. Their bento boxes are a great value and you can sample different things like glass noodles, gyoza, a roll and seaweed and squid salad plus your entree. I’ve also had their stir fry and other dishes, though today I’m sharing pics of take-out and they just never, ever disappoint. Everything is perfect!“

My husband had the steak frites and it was cooked to perfection. Also a generous portion. Our friend had the salmon and said it was very good and my son had the burger. Said it was good but nothing special.“
