“The food is excellent, especially for the prices. The ability to order online is also super convenient, as it's probably about a 15 minute drive from my office and by the time I get there, my food is always ready for me to pick up and go. People behind the counter are very friendly and nice, I literally recommend this place to my friends and coworkers all the time, I'm here probably every other day.

If you ever see the Southern Pride chicken sandwich come up in their weekly specials, I cannot recommend it enough!“

“My wife and I have lived in many places and we've never had a sandwich that was so delicious, even on the next day. We've eaten our way from coast to coast and this is my far the greatest hero, grinder, sandwich whatever you want to call it. We will never be getting a grinder anywhere else. The quality, quantity and taste is a 10/10.“

“The experience at Nouveau Monde was fantastic. We've eaten there many times, but last night I thought was exceptional. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was perfect. They have added a shortened wine list to their menu, but if you're real adventurous, you can flip through the enormous wine list that is viewed on a tablet. I went the easier route this time, got a bottle off the menu and was absolutely pleased with it.“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“Beer is good but we are saddened that they will no longer have the card purchase for $50 for 11 beers. It was a good value. This may deter us from coming. If it is not working for black hog maybe raise price of card a little? We love the beer but beer is becoming expensive at all of the breweries. May stop coming out to the establishments unfortunately.“

“Reverie continues to be a top contender for our favorite craft brewery in CT. Today was another great visit…the 5th anniversary of Reverie’s existence. The live music was great, the beer was great, the souvenir pub glasses were great, the staff is always great, and our group of 8 had a great time! “This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I tried beers from Lasting Brass at bars before, but this was my first visit to the brewery.

The brewery occupies a separate building near a picturesque area with a river. It has 2 separated outdoor patios and a small area indoors. No food is served inside, but food trucks might are onsite occasionally.

I already had several favorite beers from Lasting Brass, because they were not shy to experiment with flavors. So this time I tried all beers they had on tap. Luckily, there is an option to order a small pour. I have to say, that some beers really impressed me. All the beers I tried were solid, crushable and tasty. But the special place in my heart is reserved to their flagship beers - Java Bloom (Imperial Stout) and Contusion (Sour IPA). These 2 were really bursting with flavor, that was complex and layered. On top of the beers, I thoroughly enjoyed the community in this place. It was filled with regulars, everyone knew each other and it was just a really cozy and friendly environment.

I do recommend this brewery to everyone and it is worth a dedicated trip.“

“A perfect Christmas Eve meal. Crab cakes were delicious. The Caesar salads excellent-cold and very crisp. The NE Clam chowder was the only item that was just so-so. Under seasoned and very, very bland. Cocktails spot on! Service was truly outstanding. We loved it!“
