We made a quick stop for ice cream at this lovely little shop. The ice cream is seriously the best we have ever had. We will be back for more, and to shop the pastas. It was a pleasure to meet Steve as well!

I drove from the next town over, intentionally arriving around 4:45, well before their scheduled closing time at 5. When I got there, the presumed owner was locking the door. He realized I was an intended customer, said he had a delivery to make, but that he would run in to get me a couple pints. He did not allow me in the store, nor would he even tell me the flavors he had. He emphasized multiple times he had a delivery to make, and rushed the entire process. I ended up getting a few pints brought out to me. While he was in the store a couple drove up to also get ice cream and I told them what was occurring. Before they left, they informed me this behavior was not unusual.
Long story short, the ice cream (Ferris Farms out of Newtown) was amazing, but the customer service was exceptionally poor. My advice: Don’t have a schedule listed if you’re not going to honor your own stated agreement with the public, and don’t repeatedly rush your customers and make them feel like a burden.

I have shopped here a few times. They have wonderful fresh pasta, prepared foods, and a great assortment of food gifts. It's a great store, very pricey.

Second time bad customer service experience. I had to return a product this time and was not offered a refund. Met with “it’s not expired”, and not even a “sorry you didn’t like it.” Walked in to guy on the phone saying “hold on someone is coming in with something” Presuming he’s on phone with other owner. I explained I bought the Stonewall kitchen brand sea salt espresso martini syrup mix, following all directions to mix, it still curdled the drink, trying to thin this thick, molasses-like blend there was no making it taste good nor get a good consistency. (Immediate stomachaches) Just an overall bad product. (Resold by many businesses including TJ Maxx) Proceeds to tell whomever on phone “she didn’t like it”. Tells me to give it to someone else. I said no, just throw it out then, and walked out. Again another terrible customer service, won’t be going back this time.

The family that runs this shop is always so kind and pleasant. The selection of food is great from Ferris farms ice cream, Bridgewater chocolates to locally made turkey chili and other soups, and of course great pasta. The store also has a great selection of gifts, mostly food related! We’ve been coming here for year and are always pleased.

The guy in there was literally acting mad that I came in at 6:50 and told me to hurry up and pick out what chocolate I want cause he’s on his way out ? that ain’t how business is done man, and it would have taken me thirty seconds to tell u what I wanted. Don’t talk to people in business like they’re your kids, or like they inconvenienced you by coming in. Change your hours then
