“My favorite local watering hole.I’ve been going to Ideal Tavern for years now and I absolutely love it. The food is always on point, great selection of craft beers and even better craft cocktails. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is amazing. And they ALWAYS are playing the best music. Whatever playlist they’re using it has always been on point for years. Can’t recommend Ideal Tavern enough, my favorite spot in Southington.“

“My friend and I had such a nice night out here! Totally loved the vibe, and the menu had so many interesting choices. We loved everything that we tried! Highlights included the queso for 2, meatballs, cauliflower satay, and fig melt. I haven’t seen anything like the Frenchman’s burger before! Such a cool idea and perfect for French onion soup lovers. Every menu item was unique in some way, and they had a great list of seasonal cocktails. Since I don’t drink, the bartender was so nice and made a special mocktail with cranberry and rosemary! The staff was so friendly, and everything was delicious. I’ll definitely be visiting again!“

“This place was great and accommodating for our large group. We were guests of a baptism party that rented the restaurant prior to the usual opening time. The food was a buffet style as requested, and they did not disappoint. It was amazing. The drinks were on point with a smile. The servers and waitresses were beyond nice and made the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable like home. There was no rush when it was time to go, and the leftover food did not go to waste. I was very happy to be a guest here and will return.“

“Came here a few times and food was great! The service the other times were about a 6/10 but it was busier. Today we came for brunch and we received exceptional service! Taisha was a friendly and a super attentive bartender. We loved her! Wilson the cook was dope as well! I like my wings abnormally well done and the cook came out to ask me how I wanted them. He was so nice! The music is a vibe too! I loved the staff, they made our experience a 10/10!!! Ps- blue cheese dressing is fire as is the Rasta pasta- everything fresh and homemade! Unlimited mimosas for $20 and Tasha kept them coming! 10/10 for today ?“

“With warm weather in June, we sat outside on The Oak Patio to watch musician Timmy Maia cover well-known songs. The Oak Patio serves the TimeOut Sports & Pizza Bar menu which includes usual pub fare such as burgers, gourmet pizza, appetizers, salads and sandwiches plus a few high end dinners. Full bar with craft beers in addition to a good selection of wine. Arrive early if you want to sit in the comfortable sectional and seatings in front of the stage inside the fenced in area. Our friends got there an hour before the show and we still could only be seated at a table for four outside the fence, which allows diners to see the entertainment but through the iron bars. All of our food and drinks were very good and served in a timely manner: coconut shrimp, calamari and nachos for starters. Kobe burger with bacon and fried egg; French dip handheld sandwich with sliced beef, cheddar and au jus; Jerry Pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. My partner, an old friend of Timmy's wanted to say hi during intermission so we went through the lobby of the Doubletree hotel by Hilton Hotel where this venue is located in Bristol, and went inside the enclosure so they could shake hands, catch up and take some photos. It's a nice place to get out and have a meal with or without a band. There's a lot of greenery, palms, plants and white lights under a white tented roof for the enclosed main area.“

“Nice little hidden gem. Located on a main road and there is street parking in front. Menu had quite an offering and something for everyone. The wings and nachos were delicious. The decor was nice and inviting . The bartender Jessica was fabulous, the other girls were friendly as well. They have a pretty good happy house menu so definitely I'll go there again. Worth the drive for me for sure. They also have a banquet room available for parties there too.Definitely check this place out for some delicious food and good pricing.“
