“314 Beer Garden was amazing for my 40th high school reunion. Jackie worked with me on a layout and prices that were amazing. George was there to oversee the food that we had ordered and was extremely attentive. The bartenders that we had that night in our area were amazing and personable. And last, but not least the kitchen staff pumped out great food which everybody enjoyed. The fire was roaring and the band was amazing. 10 out of 10 would recommend!“

“First, to call SOB a hidden gem would be doing it a disservice, per all the five-star reviews! The better term is off the beaten path, but undoubtedly worth a purposeful trip. I am admittedly a bit of a sandwich snob, and Michelle's porchetta special did NOT disappoint. As a matter of fact, she was so genuinely charming and sincere in her description of it, that all three of us ordered the exact same thing, and the full-size grinder at that. This was a BIG sandwich, even by my standards, and the components were all top-notch. Somehow, the meat was still juicy and tender, even sliced thin and griddled on the flat top. The provolone was melted nicely, and the marinated peppers had just enough bite to balance the richness. She gave us a cup of au jus for dipping as well, which was greatly appreciated. Taste and value aside, Michelle may just be the start of the show. Her hospitable kindness and welcoming spirit made the food even better, to the effect that we were already planning our next visit before we even left. “Loved this brewery!! Cute, clean space. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite empty. We have a CT beer passport book that brought us there. Parking lot was a good size and easily accessible. The staff was so sweet and attentive. Seating was open and they served you at the table. A handful of beers on tap with a mix of options. They have a full menu and my boyfriend and I had the tacos - chicken and pulled pork, which were both delicious! Great sized portions. We also loved their logo, super cute design. I would love to see their space busier on a Saturday afternoon! If you drive by, consider stopping by for some great vibes.“

This was my first time going to Veganish Cafe in Bridgeport and when I tell you it did NOT disappoint!
I ordered the SWEET CHILLI spinach wrap with oyster mushrooms and added vegan bacon (because I LOVE bacon 😭). I also got the sweet potato fries and a brownie… and baby everything was GOOD. I ATE IT BEFORE I COULD MAKE IT HOME. And listen… I even mixed all three of my drinks together (I wish I remembered the names 😩) but it was still hitting!

If you’re vegan, you NEED to run there. I don’t know what other place you’re going to, but you need to RUN there okay!And the customer service? Amazing. The young lady at the register was so welcoming, polite, and kind. She made the whole experience even better.I will definitely be back! “We’ve been going here for about 4 years and are never disappointed. My husband and I love their Spanish options (best huevos rancheros I’ve been able to find outside of New York), but they also have eggs, pancakes, and other “classic” items. And this is just their breakfast menu! Their lunch items are just as delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, service is fast even on a busy day, we LOVE all of the sauces on every table, it’s always clean, and they add new dishes pretty often to keep their menu fresh. Can’t say enough good things about them!“

Now for the real reason for the review—- I had my 40th birthday party at Elicit recently, renting the full Biergarten for about 60 people. The whole event was lovely. Robin, the event manager, was easy to work with and super accommodating to all my requests. She worked with me to determine the best setup for the kind of event I was planning. I had an unexpected change at the last minute with my party (the main performer bowed out) and both Robin and the general manager Mary, sprang into action to help fix it. They made calls, kept following up, offered solutions and did whatever they could to ensure it would still be a great event. In the end, it was a spectacular day. Everything ran smoothly, food and drink were great, and the cost of the event was a good value. I would definitely recommend hosting an event at Elicit!“
