Learned about this Haitian restaurant a while back, it’s a gem. Had a dinner party there and it was great. The food and drinks were excellent. Only slight negative was that our assigned attendant didn’t speak much English. My family speaks a similar kreyol so it was ok and the owners were around to assist if needed. Excellent!!! The food was perfect! I had the snapper and black rice. I travel for work, and have been to restaurants all over the US. This place is a hour and a half from where I am staying, and I must say.... HANDS DOWN, La Perle has some the best Haitian food I have had... Definitely going back again before I leave Connecticut!
