Consulting about our event went smoothly, with Melissa offering smart suggestions. Menus were planned, fine-tuned and put together efficiently. If you want the event that everyone will be asking who your caterer was, MSCE is your team. I was slightly intimidated because I thought that they would not want to do a smaller party and I could not have been more wrong. The care with which they helped me pick the menu, I felt like I got the attention of a 200, 400 person event. Not only is the food incredible, the staff is also beyond attentive and kind. I've hired teams in the past but this is who I will be using exclusively moving forward. They made my 50th birthday party more than I could have imagined.

We had the pleasure of working with their team for our cocktail-style wedding, and wow, just wow. From the start, we felt fully supported. They were mindful of our budget, kept in constant communication, answered every single question, and on the day of the team made sure we were taken care of and actually eating (which was crucial because I was having so much fun I would’ve totally forgotten to).

Phenomenal food. Went to a wedding last night and could not get over every single dish that came out. The duck rolls were the absolute best!! The servers were so kind and helpful!!

We have used Marcia Selden several times over the last couple of years, and each and every time has been exceptional!! From the first call to Jennifer Reilly to begin planning our events, we have been so impressed with the professionalism, fabulous presentation, unbelievable service and glorious food! We have hosted many different types of events from engagement parties, fundraisers, X-Mas Eve celebrations and each event was very different and incredibly creative. Cannot say enough good things about Marcia Selden.
Have used this company three times in the last year for events at our home: 2 mid-sized seated dinners, and one larger event (50 people in backyard for 40th birthday with bartender, passed dinner etc) and have been blown away each time. Amazing food, extremely professional, and they leave the space spotless. Amazing problem solvers and really able and willing to go with the flow (e.g. i kept increasing guest count until the 11th hour; wanted to begin outside then have bar transition inside once it got too dark/bugs came out etc, which they did flawlessly). I felt like a guest at my own party.
The only problem with Marcia Selden is that once you use them, every other caterer or DIY alternative seems terrible because they are so amazing. I feel so lucky to have found this company!! Cant wait for my next event with them.
