“This place RULES! The decor and vibe are on point - straight up modern chic done just right. Think urban brick, wood, industrial metal chic. Nicolette is very friendly and a great conversationalist who loves talking about the beers and is very knowledgeable. The beers are absolutely stellar. We did two IPA flights and they all had their own unique deliciosity. The bar stools are actually comfy (rare for me cuz I have a bony bottom). They also have live music, are family friendly, and have clean chic bathrooms!“

“I stopped by Caribbean Bakery & Mini Mart for dinner and went straight for their oxtail with rice & peas and veggies. The plate was huge, and you could smell the seasoning before it even hit the table. The oxtail was flavorful, tender, and coated in a rich sauce that really pulled the dish together. The rice was fluffy, the peas earthy, and everything had that authentic homemade Caribbean taste.

If I had one wish, it would be for the oxtail pieces to be a little meatier — because the flavor had me wanting more. Portion-wise though, they don’t skimp, and everything tasted fresh.

Service was straightforward, the spot has that local charm, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re craving real Caribbean flavor in the area. One heads-up: parking can be tough, especially earlier in the day, so plan ahead.

“We love 1234 Pizza and order from them on a weekly basis. Our favorites are the beef pepperoni pizza, the garlic knots, and the zeppolis! We always get delivery through them. The food always arrives quickly, and it’s fresh and hot. I also feel like they are more reasonably priced compared to some of the competition. Highly recommend!“

“Great location in a lively, redeveloped section of Stamford. We had an event with a fixed price menu and each course was amazingly good. Come hungry, because they give you a lot of food. Apps, salad, pasta and main courses were all wonderful. Great service and a great view of the harbor. Not sure if it is open to the public, but if it is, check it out.“

“I recently hosted my Headshots & Handshakes event, powered by OQC, at this restaurant—and it was the perfect setting for a vibrant and engaging community networking experience. The space was open, inviting, and just the right size to foster meaningful connections without feeling crowded.

The atmosphere was beautifully enhanced by J Rod Designs, a trusted local favorite, whose decor added an elegant and professional touch. The bar featured three signature cocktails that were an absolute hit, and the bartenders brought great energy and service throughout the event.

A standout moment for me was when the owner gifted my daughter and niece small stuffed animals to keep them entertained during the event—such a thoughtful gesture that spoke volumes about the care and attention this establishment shows its guests.

Our attendees had a fantastic time, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return—either with the organization or for a personal visit. Highly recommend!“

“It's one of my favorite Stamford pizza spot growing up. We went there today with my friend who was in town, The food was still good. New owners and I will try more and have more ideas if it's still the original that I grew up with.“

“We arrived at 9:30pm, the restaurant was set to close at 10. The hostess welcomed us in and seated us with no fuss. Ines took care of all our refills and drink orders- she was so sweet with my kids. We ordered the Salmon, the Greek salad, and my son ordered the kids chicken fingers and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! Waaay exceeded my expectations.

We were nervous there would be long lines, but the wait was very short, the guys in the truck were super friendly and efficient, the food was delicious (everyone raved about it!) and the prices were completely reasonable. “Went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the selections and prices. They have great tea selections which can be iced or mixed and matched with other teas and/or lemonade. I had a raspberry hibiscus iced tea, which was fantastic.

The atmosphere is weird, not sure why, maybe it's the industrial warehouse feel that threw me, or the high top tables and bar chairs, which I just hate. There is other non-traditional seating such as couches and easy chairs which are pretty comfy. There are also 2 phone booth type single occupant cubby seating for a working lunch or quiet single eating spot.

I'd go back for lunch with or without colleagues on a work day.“

Some favorites are their chicken Cesar wrap, chicken dumplings, tuna salad, yogurt parfait and penne a la vodka! It’s hard not to come to this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
