“I ordered my wedding cake from Li's Bakeshop in December of 2023. It was for 60 people and was a two tier chocolate cake with oreo filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. I was able to show the baker a picture of the design I was thinking about in the frosting and asked for a little bit of gold on it as well. The result was even better than me or my husband could've imagined! It was the absolute perfect, sweet ending to our amazing day!! All of our guests couldn't stop telling us it was the best cake they've ever had. We were able to save two slices and they're in the freezer awaiting our first anniversary. We've been long time customers and wouldn't have trusted anyone else to make our cake for us.“

“I had originally ordered a bagel sandwich but due to my Tree-Nut allergy the staff alerted me that there may be potential cross contamination. As a result I got the bagel as is and they gave me a side of cream cheese. On top of that they refunded my order. All the staff members were very sweet and I was so appreciative of their kindness :)) would highly recommend thanks to the staff alone!“

Sift Bake Shop is a really nice coffee shop and bakery. The coffee was great, and the baked goods were beautiful and delicious. It’s clear why it’s such a popular spot.

One tip: mornings can get quite busy, but later in the day it’s much calmer and easy to get whatever you want without the wait. Either way, it’s worth stopping by. We would definitely recommend Sift Bake Shop to anyone visiting Mystic!“

“📅 05.09.26 - ✍🏾 BIG AL’S WRITTEN REVIEW EP.244 - Big Al’s Reel Reviews 🍽️ Nana’s Bakery & Pizzeria 💎 📍Westerly, RI Aight B.A.R.R. fans… Saturday night I found myself walking through rainy downtown Westerly heading toward a smaller artisan-style sourdough spot that had been sitting on my radar for a minute now 👀🌧️🔥 And let me tell you something right now… This place had a REALLY good vibe from the moment I walked through the door 😮‍💨🔥 Candles glowing throughout the restaurant, exposed brick walls, fresh flowers on the tables, smooth 70s and 80s music playing all evening long, and people constantly flowing in and out all night 👏🏾🔥 This place wasn’t huge at all… but the ENERGY inside here was real. Tables stayed busy, the bar stayed active, conversations were happening everywhere, and the whole restaurant just had that cozy lively Saturday night atmosphere 😎 And let me say this too… The music in here was PERFECT 😎🔥 They were playing great classics all evening from Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Hall & Oates, etc. My server Sarah did a really great job throughout the night too 👏🏾 She was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and handled the busy dining room really well. One of my favorite parts of the evening honestly had nothing to do with the food though ☝🏾❤️ I ended up sitting next to a really wonderful couple named Alec and Angela, and we spent over an hour talking, laughing, discussing food and life throughout dinner. Absolute home run dish right here. The REAL star was the sourdough crust. “This is a must stop place to visit! The baked goods, everything is so delicious the best cider doughnuts ever eaten 🤤 😋…Not only is this place educational for watching and learning how cider is made the old fashioned way but because the ppl are so amazingly friendly its family owned and 3 Generations work on the grounds and love what they do! I personally met and spoke to 2 of many, John who is in the mill making the cider and will tell you all you need to know about it. As well as Amy (Nurse on site, John’s sister and her mom makes the cider doughnuts, she goes in at 3am to do so😳) who was so friendly and helpful she and some of the workers and some patrons helped my father,who has an inner ear issue with vertigo. Came on all of a sudden right at the register these ppl were so helpful and came to his aid got him to a chair during this scary 😟 time for him. I can’t thank them enough but go show your support and enjoy some hard cider 🍺 and pick up wine and apple pie 🥧 for home! Dogs 🐶 are welcome!!
