“This place has some amazing food... It is Within walking distance to anywhere in downtown New London,CT... Bacon, egg and cheese grinders my favorite From here. The rice and beans are amazing... The lunch specials. And the pastries are second to none...Great place to stop and eat.“
“I have only ate their food once but OMG the bakery items are amazing. Before you even walk in you can see the great selection. Same price as DD. To be honest with you I don't know if you've noticed but everything at DD is shrinking. Been here many times will keep coming back.“
“Iced chai tea and hot coffee were the best my wife and I have ever had. We also each got a Thai salad, which is amazing even without the dressing that come with it!! Lastly, the gluten free (and vegan!) chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies were phenomenal! Staff was happy to help with any questions we had about allergens in the food and everything was ready in less than five minutes. The little outside seating area was cute and the location was easy to get to, but far enough away from the noise on the main strip of stores.Dietary restrictions: They have clearly labeled gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options. Staff also has easy access to a book with all allergy information for all menu items.“
“Can only comment on a few items... Buttery smooth lattes with the Canyon Coffee they use. Great Chicken Salad sandwich! Really good Rotisserie Chicken and sides. Drip coffee is really good too. Egg sandwich is a tad bland, but solid. Staff is always really friendly.“
“Friendly staff, helpful with menu questions.Great parking availablity.Had a Doppio Con pana, while they weren't sure how to make it, they had no problem asking, and executing perfectly ( it's just a fancy way to say 2 shots w whip cream).Had the Basic grilled cheese, was veeeerrrry good. Big, crispy, gooey delicious-ness that is served with just enough tomato bisque to dip and enjoy. The atmosphere is nice, some people were there working on their laptops, others meeting friends for lunch. The desserts looked abs decadent, I'm looking forward to going back and trying the baklava. Recommend, vand I look forward to going back ?“
“The food at the village cafe is incredibly good. The meals are delicious and made with real ingredients. The owners and staff are always welcoming and go out of their way to accommodate customers. I have been going there since they opened and everything is always kept meticulously clean.“
“Great service and food, even when they are busy the line moves quickly. Everything I've had there has been delicious and you can make a preorder ahead of time for events or if you just want to guarantee you get what you want. If you're in the area for sure give them a try. The ambience is neighborly/ family friendly .“
“Southeastern CT is loaded with places where you can find some excellent sweets, but Sift is truly in a class of its own. One look in their display case and you'll know what I mean. They are not messing around! Almost everything they sell looks like it belongs in a museum, and if it wasn't for the fact that it was all so delicious, you'd almost feel bad eating it. They aren't a one trick pony, either. While I admittedly go there for deserts in most cases, on a recent trip I decided to try one of their sandwiches and was not disappointed. The space is relatively small, and most times I've been there's (understandably) been a line, but the small army of employees there makes quick work of it. Ordering is a breeze, everyone there is so eager to help guide you towards selecting the perfect treat for your tastes. One warning- you will probably leave with more than you came to buy, but you certainly won't regret it.“
“My husband and I went to eat for the first time and the experience was great. The food was incredibly seasoned and the service was excellent. The bartender and waiter Angel was very knowledgeable in the food of his country. I recommend the restaurant for its excellent food and service.“
