“What nice people! Such a pleasure to go in and talk with them and get recommendations. Everything they have is incredible. I love everything in this beautiful shop. I embarrass myself because I buy so much. People are happy when in this shop and smile and talk. If you eat one of their grilled cheese sandwiches you will lie in bed dreaming of them. Did I mention how nice everyone is. Linda“

“I got an iced dirty Harry that was absolutely delicious and really well-balanced. The barista was really patient because it took me forever to order and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes darker bitter espresso like I do. Full flavored and actually tasted like coffee!“

“Popped in today and tried the Thai lemongrass shrimp soup and the pork and kimchi stew. Both really delicious. Popup Bagels is also operating out the back on weekends and the bagels were spectacular. You have to preorders those on the popup bagel website.“

“This hole in the wall coffee shop is so cute! I wanted to get an affogato so badly, but went with a mocha latte instead because it was very cold and windy. The coffee was really good and high quality. The only thing I would say is the cafe is pretty small and when there’s a lot of people it can feel quite claustrophobic.“

“This is a quaint neighborhood bakery that's open year-round. We popped in during an icy day a couple of weeks ago- it was a comfort to be greeted by the warmth, friendly staff, and the delicious aromas of coffee, baked goods, and chocolate. We picked up a lemon meringue pie, Italian rainbow cookies, and frosted sugar cookies; all were delightful. Looking forward to our next visit.“

“This is a great shop, especially in the summer. Now on the winter is a bit more limited but still plenty of unique options. If you are in the neighborhood, please stop by. And sometimes they have gallery showings to support local artists. It is a but pricey but worth the quality.“

“One of our favorite places, which surprisingly has gotten even better from the first time we tried it. We brought our friends there for brunch last weekend - the food, pastries, and coffee were just as great as I remembered them, but the service is what really knocked the experience out of the park. It was busy even in the winter season, but the hostess and servers were accommodating and made us feel welcome and comfortable, even moving us to a more spacious table as soon as it opened up (without us even asking). They surprised us with a round of hot chocolate shots with homemade marshmallows, which was the cherry on top of our brunch. We were so fond of that experience, we drove 1 hour to return just one week later - completely worth it. They’re undergoing some construction to expand the space (which is much needed given their popularity), so parking can be a little tricky right now, but completely understandable. We’ve made a habit of bringing some pastries home, and are always in awe at how delicious, light, yet full of flavor they all have been. Truly a gem!“

“I LOVE Levain Bakeries. I've been to a few in NYC, and happened to see the one near East Hampton on the way to Montauk. Had to do a double take, since I wasn't expecting to see one out this way. The cookies were fantastic (as always). Tried to go back with more friends another time, but they closed so early (3 pm). We'll try again another time!“
