“Delicious Treats at Sift Bake Shop – Mystic! 🥐🍰

My husband, our fur daughter Chewie, and I spent 4 days and 3 nights in CT, and before heading back yesterday to NJ, we stopped by Sift Bake Shop in Mystic. It was our first time there, and WOW—everything looked so good! I ended up spending almost $90! 😆 Since we’re not from CT and didn’t know what to order, I asked one of the servers for her recommendations, and I followed most of her suggestions. I don’t know the names of everything I ordered, but I took pictures so I can remember them! 😂
This morning for brunch, my mother-in-law and I had the ham and cheese croissant, and it was HUGE and absolutely delicious! 😋 Everything looked so fresh and tempting, and I’m sure the rest of what I ordered will be just as delicious. I honestly can’t wait to try everything!
Such a great find in Mystic, and we’re so glad we stopped by before heading home. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in CT! ❤🥐“

Now please don't be put off by the cost yes $65 pp is a lot of money I'm a blue collar worker but it was my 30 th wedding anniversary so my wife and I decided to go for it the waitress had told us that some walk away because of the cost but all I can say to them is your really missing out so for 65 bucks you get to take from a raw bar, charcuterie board, overnight, oats, mixed fruit, pastries, coffee bar, and tea, that's an all you can eat ,then you get to pick from a breakfast menu a main dish and as if that's not enough you get a dessert tower all I can say is OMG all that for only $65 pp what a deal and if you can't finish your food you get to take it home 🏡

“I had originally ordered a bagel sandwich but due to my Tree-Nut allergy the staff alerted me that there may be potential cross contamination. As a result I got the bagel as is and they gave me a side of cream cheese. On top of that they refunded my order. Tables stayed busy, the bar stayed active, conversations were happening everywhere, and the whole restaurant just had that cozy lively Saturday night atmosphere 😎 And let me say this too… The music in here was PERFECT 😎🔥 They were playing great classics all evening from Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Hall & Oates, etc. My server Sarah did a really great job throughout the night too 👏🏾 She was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and handled the busy dining room really well. Absolute home run dish right here. EASY 💣 3️⃣ Sweet & Spicy Pepperoni Pizza - $20 Bomb 💣 Yooo - this pizza was CRAZY 👀🍕 The sweet heat combination from the hot honey and Calabrian chili worked perfectly together, but honestly? The REAL star was the sourdough crust. For those that are wondering, no the pastries are not baked on-site but that’s the reality for such a small location. The pastries and baked goods are very fresh though and the service is solid.

Almond croissant is excellent, the lemon/blueberry overnight oats were great, and the bread is hearty and perfect for sandwiches.

We make a habit of popping over for breakfast at least once per week.“

“I ordered my wedding cake from Li's Bakeshop in December of 2023. It was for 60 people and was a two tier chocolate cake with oreo filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. I was able to show the baker a picture of the design I was thinking about in the frosting and asked for a little bit of gold on it as well. The result was even better than me or my husband could've imagined! It was the absolute perfect, sweet ending to our amazing day!! All of our guests couldn't stop telling us it was the best cake they've ever had. We were able to save two slices and they're in the freezer awaiting our first anniversary. We've been long time customers and wouldn't have trusted anyone else to make our cake for us.“
