“WOW!!!! I lived in France for 8 years and have traveled through much of Europe……Bounom is hands down the VERY BEST bakery that I have ever been to!!!! My mother and I are fairly accomplished cooks and bakers so are very aware of quality……..we do not eat grocery store pastries….they may be convenient and less expensive but are very poor quality……Kamla makes everything by hand with top quality ingredients the morning that they are sold…..basically, you get what you pay for!!!!!! Top quality ingredients are expensive! You can order online the day before to make sure that you are able to get what you want, they often sell out early. If you want discount store prices, then go to the discount store……Bounom products are EXCEPTIONAL and very much worth the price!!!!! In addition the staff are extremely friendly and helpful!!!! My NUMBER ONE RECOMMENDATION for a bakery !!!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their wonderful goodies!!! I would give them 10 stars if I were able!!!”

“I really cannot find the right words to describe the experience you will have when you dine at this gem of a place. It is our "go to" when we want a very memorable evening. From the minute you walk in the door you will be treated like you are the most special couple in the room. Every person that works there goes above and beyond. You almost feel like you are in Europe at a little bistro. And to think it is right here in the lovely little town of Tariffville. Thank you for the wonderful memory you help create.”

“Honestly so good. Tried to come on Christmas from the social media posts but yall were sold out of food! The best problem to have. I have been itching to come since, I am so far from disappointed. The staff was so friendly, spoke with one of the owners- he was so friendly and easy to chat with truly wish we could have talked longer! He explained his wife does the majority of the cooking and you can taste how homemade it all really is with each bite. The desserts were also delicious. Will absolutely be coming back- so upset it took me so long to try this place. Will be recommending it to anyone who likes Thai food or even wants to try Thai food.”

“Hello All. I was on a mission. My wife had a taste for a pound cake, but not just any pound cake. She wanted a pound cake that tasted like her mom used to make. Well, it took some time to scan the internet and read some of the comments at other bakeries and I found myself very disappointed. As I was about to give up, I found Perfect Poundcakes. I read the comments from their customers and I thought I would give them a try. I placed my order online. When I picked up my poundcake I was greeted by a friendly staff that took extreme pride in their product. When I arrived home, my wife instantly recognized the aroma that brought her back to some wonderful memories of her mom. Going forward Perfect Poundcakes will be a part of our family events. “Was there Monday night for dinner and it was amazing from the bread service to the apps drinks dinner and dessert got the bone in ny sirloin cooked to perfection and my friend got the short rib pasta special minus the short rib bc she is a Vegetarian they wete more than happy to accommodate and her food was equally as delicious!!”

“Good afternoon folks! With Starbucks in Avon closed for construction, I’ve been a the hunt for a new coffee place. Yesterday, I tried Coffee Trade for the first time. I was beyond impressed. The coffee was delicious and made with on site roasted beans. The prices are extremely reasonable, way cheaper than Doms or any competing shops. They had countless exciting flavors, I want to attempt to try them all. The atmosphere was so great and unique. And, the employees are truly fantastic and helpful. It’s hard nowadays to find a business with strong morals and sense of community. I felt immediately welcomed at Coffee Trade. I went back today and once again was impressed. If you haven’t tried this place yet and are a true coffee lover, it’s worth a visit. Their outdoor patio is also lovely and great to spend a relaxing morning. I’ll be sure to be back and make this part of my regular routine. My only regret is not trying it sooner 😂”

“I went to Farleys Pub with a friend from Our Eastern Days at the Olde Bradley Terminal. The service was great the food, Wonderful and the owner once worked the Security Checkpoint, Concourse A, at Bradley Field back in the 1970's. It was a really nice visit. On My next trip to Ct. I will definitely go there again.”
