After my favorite chinese spot closed in Winsted, ct (Ocean Garden) i needed to find a new spot to feed my craving. I tried soooooo many places, with some not being good and others having a couple ok dishes. I was about to give up when I found China town. Everything that I eat feom there tastes fantastic. I haven't had any issues or bad dishes yet. If you need some good chinese food, check them out.
Hole in the wall kinda place. Run down. But...best Chinese Food in the area. Owners, who i believe are a family) are great. They will call you if youre late though so be on time to pick up your order. Only one time did i get a weong item and it was an order of pork fried rice vs more white rice. We picked up shrimp rolls, egg rolls, the chicken and broccoli combo, and the boneless spare ribs combo. Everything tasted great and the portions were generous. Food was ready on time and well-packaged. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that a couple of items weren’t as hot as I would have liked. Overall, solid Chinese food and I’d definitely order again!
