“We had an errand to run in Torrington. Then, we were hungry. We found Tina's Cafe while driving around. We love finding small business owner establishments.

It was bright, cheery, and clean. Tina and Larry were so hospitable. THE FOOD WAS SO FRESH!! I got a breakfast sandwich, and Trevor got the Turkey Gobbler sandwich for lunch. i think it was a special. I can't remember.

The sandwiches were hearty and delicious. It was the best sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich I've ever had.“

“I was leaving Patterson, going to get on the highway and head back to Georgia. I was praying that the hot dog guy would be there, we turned the corner and there he was. What a great dude! I told him about how we used to get hot dogs at a cart near the old Grand Union back in the 80s and he knew exactly who Mike was. Unfortunately, Joe Biden screwed up the economy and you can't get four hot dogs with onions and a cream soda for $2.50 anymore....but I was very happy with Phil's onion sauce and if I wasn't driving almost a thousand miles I probably would have had two or three more... Looking forward to stopping by next time I'm in town!“

“Killer roadside hotdog stand! Quick and delicious. He's got 2 daily specials: dog, snack and a canned soda for $5 or 2 dogs for $8. can add chili/cheese for and extra buck. Lots of topping options including like 4 or 5 different mustards. There's a picnic table if you want to sit and eat. The owner is friendly and helpful. CASH ONLY!“
