“Little long time gem hidden on Broadway, & I always wanted to stop in for a cheese burger. They were all very pleasant, the cheeseburger was delish,& what I liked best is that is not pre-made. All burgers & hot dogs are made while you watch them cooking. Great place to visit!“

“Classic joint with great quality dogs (with a casing). Chili dog is a winner—sauce is thin but very flavorful. Plenty of other topping options and meal specials. My colleague’s son described Pete’s as “the most amazing place in the world” and for the price I won’t argue. Service is also lightning fast, just know there aren’t vegetarian hotdog options, so only go if you’re an omnivore.“

“Guys....yes this is a five star review for a hot dog truck. It's not a steak house but a tube steak house and if your looking for tube steaks(Hot Dogs) then this is the place. It's kept so clean, it's well run by friendly people who care about the product and community they serve. Their toppings are fantastic and fresh especially their hot and mild chili's they offer. Again if your looking for a hot dog place you won't find better in the area. Top grade sabrett hot dogs with all the fixings. Fair prices and picnic tables if you don't want to eat in your car. This review is way over do as I've been going here for 10+ years and forgot to review them. Imagine my surprise. I challenge you to try their food if your from New York or New Jersey you'll already be familiar with their product. They also from time to time have knishes which for me is a guilty pleasure if they don't have them when you go give them a hard time like I do. Look no further.“

“I grew up with Pete and Vinnie Orsino! I used to go there 3-4 times a week and most days I'd have at least 2 dogs with mustard and extra craut! Since I was a family friend I even worked there for some time as a teenager! I now live in Florida and only occasionally get to Newburgh but when I do I stop in for a "few" of those wonderful hot dogs! My good buddy Pete has left this world but Vince is still there. Haven't been there in a while but still remember the great times we had there!“

“Delicious food! I'd have given 5 stars but the onions set out for us to put on our food, while covered, had fruit flies in them and smelled rancid. It appeared to be a fluke because everything else seemed clean and fresh, but it was still off-putting.“

Euro Cafe Cafe • $
New Windsor

“Well....it's been a while since I've been somewhere new that I've really enjoyed . Euro Cafe was a place my better half has been talking up for the better part of 2 years, but for some reason we never ended up there. It was definitely worth the drive! We were welcomed by one of the owners as soon as we walked in, and seated immediately in a quaint but spacious dining room. Our server Dominique was friendly, and we'll versed with the menu. The food portions were ample, all the food was authentic and fresh. I've never been a fan of kielbasa or sauerkraut, but I finished my entire plate of both along with pierogis and stuffed cabbage. We also shared the potato pancakes covered with a mushroom gravy(that was amazing) also served with another type of kraut which was sweet, and an apple-strawberry relish. The dessert there looked delicious, but after the food and a great Polish beer...I was full and happy! We'll have to get back soon for coffee and dessert.“
