We went to Kaylan’s Kitchen a while ago for breakfast and both of our sandwiches were insipid and sad for the price we were charged. We never went back. Now with all the drama they’ve caused with the strawberry festival, we decided to check them out again last week-end. There was an insane amount of strawberry flavored items which is great for your own shop but clearly the ownership did not understand what the strawberry festival was about. I do now understand why the operation of the festival asked them to limit their offering. It seems like they really wanted to steal the show with greediness and this is far from being community driven. Also letting your followers discredit a charity event while they are also publicly asking for a boycott of said event is just bad business. At anytime the ownership could have stepped in and stopped this, they chose to play victim and lied their way through the whole thing instead. It’s a total flop for us 2/2. We won’t be back.

Every time I order pick up, the staff are so friendly and my food is phenomenal. This is my new favorite place. Highly recommend their Jalapeño Popper pizza. I want to try more of their menu but this thing has me in a chokehold!! The cannoli stuffed cookies are to die for as well. Perfect amount of sweetness and the filling is what I'll describe as refreshing and addicting.

Kaylan’s Kitchen graciously provided lunch for the Torrington Little League’s Coaches Clinic on Saturday. The wraps and salad were so fresh and delicious. I’ve been a long time customer and cannot recommend them enough. 12/10 stars. Thank you!!!!
Sweet awesome bakery with lots to offer, more than what I thought. I miss bakeries like theirs. The owner's mom, she is the sweetest...the coffee was made fresh and the baklava was great. Hubby had the omelette, I forgot what style but it tasted so damn good.
This is my fav spot in torrington, i wish i found it sooner! Whenever i work from home i always get brunch, latte, and a sweet treat here. Its amazing how every single order is perfect and so delicious. Their cinnamon buns are SO good and fresh, and this brownie with buttercream is so cute and huge - and tasty!!! Their food is sooo good too, their wraps and breakfast sammies always hit the spot. Ily guys

Okay this place is the bomb… the quesadilla is off the chart
So fresh, toasted wrap and the candied jalapeños gives it a nice kick… any of Cory’s food is great…
My husband and I just went there and waited 20 minutes for 2 bagels toasted with cream cheese!! When he went back to ask where were, they said it was still in the toaster. We finally got our bagels, the bottom was toasted, the top untoasted! Th prices are ridiculous as well. Lady at the counter was very nice tho. The place is cool but so much over priced items. It smells horrible in there especially when you are trying to eat! We won't go here again

Edit: I stand by my review. The owners reply shamelessly bends the truth. The quesadilla absolutely smelled like a dirty grill and was burned far past what they call “crispy cheese”. The picture speaks for itself. This review is truthful and not up for debate. Go read some other negative reviews and you’ll see the owners have a nasty history of downplaying their mistakes and blaming the customer. Avoid this place.
Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews like I was. First of all, they forgot half my order. I go back in, they give me what’s missing and a half hearted apology. I get home and open the quesadilla box up. It was badly burned allover and smelled like a dirty grill. I call to explain. Instead of owning up to the mistake, the woman on the phone gives me an attitude, repeating several times “it’s just the cheese” acting as if it’s suppose to be horribly burned. She said to bring it back if I want a new quesadilla. What a joke.
I said I’ll bring it back but I want a refund. She gave me more attitude, mentioned that it’s just the cheese one more time and I hung up. I get to the register, open up the box and show her. What does she say? It’s just the cheese. There’s a difference between crispy cheese and cheese that smells like burnt plastic. If you make a mistake, fine. Just don’t give me an attitude about it because you burned my $20 meal.
