“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. “Honestly one the most underrated pizzas in Connecticut (in my opinion). The sauce and ingredients are always PACKED with flavor, and the crust is always crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. Their peperoni and sausage is a must try!“

“I came from New York to check out the new Pet Rainbow bridge which was beautiful !!! I came to Sawyers Restaurant & Bar and sat at the bar with my sister and friend. Our bartender was Katie! “First time I’ve been here. Most everything was excellent. Amongst things I had was a hibachi combo with broccoli. The sauce was a little “too much” in terms of thickness/sweetness/quantity, but not bad. I requested the broccoli to be cooked soft and it came out excellent ! (Thanks)

“The delivery at that place is really quick. The food is also really good, especially the boneless spare ribs, the chicken broccoli, the chicken wings, and the golden fingers. Not to mention, the customer service is amazing. This is my go to Chinese restaurant.“

“I actually like this place. Reminds me of back home. Cash is preferred. And the price ranges for lunch $7 to 9 dollars. My children love chicken wings with pork fried rice. That was around $8.50. But they give you 4 wings which is what I'm use too compared my local Chinese that give you on 6 pc for $7.80. I did take pictures of their menu because I was always hesitant to buy when I don't see menu on website. I believe they should update their system. We're in 2021?? either way I'm happy my local was close on Monday. Gave me a chance to try new food.“

“The food and service is very good. but the booming bass music coming from the kitchen as I was sitting in the booth is too loud. I don't even know if there is music playing in the restaurant. You can't hear it over the bass. This is at 5:00 pm on a friday“

“This is a smaller eatery with lots of character and great service. I had breakfast and ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and 2 lightly scrambled eggs, also smothered in the sausage gravy. Ordered, blinked, and my food was served, impressive for a small eatery. Great biscuits and sausage gravy and the eggs were cooked perfect. I also ordered home fries with onions which tasted great and were also cooked to perfection, I loved seeing the onions cooked well as in, some were even burnt, the way they're supposed to be. Stop by if you get a chance, you'll feel right at home.“

“I have ordered the chicken cutlet grinder, lemon chicken Satorini grinder (need to try if you haven't!), eggplant and meatball parmesan grinders, and the Santa Fe and gyro chicken wraps. EVERYTHING has been excellent as far as freshness, flavor, and reasonable prices for generous portions. I understand they bake their own bread which would explain why the grinder rolls are always super fresh. Also, the staff are always friendly and appreciative. Although I've only gotten takeout, the place looks clean and comfortable, and there are tables so you can dine in.“
