“This places food wasn't the best place for soul food which I was truly shocked after reading all the great reviews but still food for a lunchtime meal, just not a place I would write home about. The food is good just not the best I have had. My major complaint was and this will be a shocker but needs more seasoning lol. It kind of seemed a bit bland to me.
HOWEVER, the reason this owner is still getting a 5 star review is he has amazing compassion. Every Thanksgiving, he usually opens his restaurant for all and anybody to come have a meal there, and might I add for FREE. That is the type of business I would 100% recommend to ALL as any owner that gives back to the community is 100% in my book!“

“Matt and Becker's catering were wonderful to work with! We were looking for some last minute catering for a funeral reception and Matt was prompt and very responsive. He helped us figure out how much food we should order and recommended a good variety. Their delivery was right on time and it was a very smooth transaction. The food was also delicious! We had a wonderful selection of wraps and different platters. Would highly recommend Becker's catering for your next event!“

The older woman who took care of our order answered all my questions about the different steak cuts, which led me to order the t-bone steak, while my hubby ordered something else. “Having my wedding at Merlot on the Water was an absolute dream! Victoria was very informative, available to communicate, and super helpful from the very beginning. She and her amazing, friendly staff also helped our day move along seamlessly and checked in on us throughout to make sure we had what we needed.
