Frankies Reviews
9.2.23 we got married at our hometown fair grounds and had Frankie’s cater! It was PERFECTION!! Everyone was blown away when they found out that’s what we were having for food, so fun, and who doesn’t love hot dog and burgers (especially FRANKIE’s)?! There was only a couple cooks/servers and MAN OH MAN did they crank it all out! We had around 160 people and they had a line as soon as the food was out, serving up all the goods in such a timely manor. They cooked and served...read full review
Fast friendly people, everything was made fresh and came out hot. Nothing was soggy or overcooked. Especially loved the onion rings. But the reason I came was for the hotdogs and, like usual, they were incredible.
😁Great place and friendly folks to deal with!!!

Frankies is a beloved local restaurant that offers a nostalgic dining experience. Their Fried Scallop sandwich is a standout, described as "like Christmas in your mouth." The friendly staff and delicious food, including top-notch hot dogs, steak fries, and a double cheeseburger with the works, have kept this establishment thriving for 86 years. Vegetarian options, such as the grilled cheese with tomato, lettuce, and mayo, are also available and well-received.
The restaurant is known for its consistency in food quality, with the fries and homemade relish being particularly praised. The staff is always pleasant and attentive. The ambiance is great, whether dining in or taking out, and the restaurant is a favorite for a quick lunch or a sunny day treat.
The service is quick, and the staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful. The food is excellent and neatly packaged in a box with a cover, making it worth the price. The hot dogs, with their sweet or spicy relish on a buttered roll, are a standout, and the curly fries and Birch beer are also recommended. The hidden gem of the menu is the fried mushrooms, which have a buttery and garlic soft inside and a crisp outside, reminiscent of a poor man's escargot. The Reedville drive location offers a laid-back atmosphere with nostalgic decor on the walls. The outdoor take-out experience is old-school, just as it should be.
