“We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“

“So I have to give so much praise to this winery. First off Jeff is absolutely amazing. I reached out to him back in Feburary asking about using the winery to get married in April and Jeff was so easy to talk to and was so easy to make plans with so I had the best day. Second off a huge shoutout to the staff of the winery. I was married on April 13th 2024 and it was rainy, windy, and incredibly cold. They let us get married on their deck and out of the rain no questions asked. I went back today on 4/15 to pick up a bottle of wine because I want to have it to drink on my one year wedding anniversary of a wonderful memory of the beautiful place we got married at. The ladies behind the bar were so kind and helped me pick the best wine to my liking. Thank you so much for giving me a beautiful place to get married and a beautiful place to have created beautiful memories with those I love the most. “We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“

“Beer is good but we are saddened that they will no longer have the card purchase for $50 for 11 beers. It was a good value. This may deter us from coming. If it is not working for black hog maybe raise price of card a little? We love the beer but beer is becoming expensive at all of the breweries. May stop coming out to the establishments unfortunately.“

“They make the greatest croissants, English muffin bread and bacon egg and cheeses. She makes the croissants and English muffin bread from scratch, and uses the thickest bacon around on her sandwiches. Everyday there’s something new in the baked goods case, and I never regret getting it (cough cough carrot cake cheese cake coffee cake) 🤤. Love hearts is truly a hidden gem“

“My husband and I had our wedding cake made at The Bakehouse. The owners are incredibly nice and generous. We even popped in a week before to ask if they had gluten free options for some guests of ours and they let us sample their almond cookies, which are AMAZING! Our cake was so delicious. It was a big hit, along with the cookies and the gluten free chocolate loaf. Thank you for your outstanding service! We will be returning when we are in the area.“

“My boyfriend I ordered from here three times and each time it got better and better. This is definitely a great pizza spot in Naugatuck! At the top of our list in this town. The first two times I got the feta cheese pizza (if you haven’t tried, a must! Also if you have hot honey at home that combo is AMAZING). My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken wrap and asked for extra chicken. We also got delivery and it was pretty quick!“

“Delicious fried shrimp platter. Shrimp was perfect, spicy fries are good. Not spicy enough IMO. Cocktail sauce and tartar sauce are really good. I am not a fan of vinegar slaw. I think buttermilk would be the much wiser choice for seafood. The flies annoyed me when they're landing on me but it's all open which is nice. Bathroom trailer is kind of gross TBH. Also, it's just really expensive. It's not the place I can just bring a family of 7 to, so we can take a break from cooking.“
