“Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

“jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“

“We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“

“Hawk Ridge is a 10/10. The wine is phenomenal, food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun! The lawn, tent space and inside are spacious enough for 2 people or a big group of friends. Not to mention, Hawk Ridge has pop up collabs and other fun events that are always worth checking out. A must stop!“

“Quaint space perfect for meeting up with friends or as a date night. Menu has plenty to offer and service is both friendly and quick. Prices match what you’d see at similar places , though the pieces of sushi did seem smaller. The serving size was spot on regardless and everything tasted great!“

“The food is always delicious and prepared how you like it. Its a clean atmosphere with kind and professional staff. The owners are community minded, and generous. They are involved with outreach organizations raising money, awareness, and basic need items for people in need. My son, Richard, enjoys eating at Gayles more than any other restaurant because of how we are treated there, and because he says they have the best burgers, turkey clubs, and milkshakes around!!!!“

“Always order take out and coming from NY this is the most NY Chinese food I've found in the area. The food had flavor and they put a ton of duck sauce. I'm leaving this review after I've had take out at least 10 times over the past 6 months. Will 100% order take out again.“

“I got a basic item, mozzarella sticks. They had the good ones, extra thick and good Marinara sauce. The fries were very good as well, super crispy and fresh. The man working there, may be the owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely suggest people come here and support a good business ?“
