Today I received 2 very stale bagels and missing hashbrown. I will not be returning, the traffic isn't worth it

Although it was quite tiny in there, the cashier (I should've gotten her name) was very nice. The bagel was amazing too! I haven't had a really good egg and cheese in a long time! My order was exactly correct too; they followed my special instructions. They did forget the napkins in the bag (I had a to go order), but it was fine. :) I'm definitely coming back!!Update: I've been there a couple more times and the egg and cheese bagels have been okay. They just didn't hit as hard as the one I got my first day there. The bagels lately taste kinda dry and they forgot to put ketchup on when I put it in the instructions. Otherwise it's still pretty nice there.

I can't speak for the Bagel's but the egg sandwich on a hard roll was disappointing. I had to open the sandwich to see if they put the Han-Egg-cheese on it. WEAK! FYI- they don't take walk in's .Manager told me zoning doesn't allow people to form a line. He said they are just too busy to take an order at the register. He did me a favor..." this time" Sorry, Won't be a next time.

Today Goldbergs was in rear form. Walked in at 1pm to a rude male employee taking my order, another not sure how to make my sandwich (Strange Bird), and a lot of conversation using a racial slur that frankly made me uncomfortable. A lot of personal conversation that also should’ve been had after hours. Needless to say my sandwich wasn’t made properly and I can’t help but think had that young man knew how to make it correctly would it have made a difference!

One small piece of ham in my sandwich asked for butter and toasted sandwich both requests ignored. Picked up order no splenda nor sweet and low diabetics beware. Person at register very dismissive attitude. Why bother for the price way better locations

These are probably the best bagels in West Hartford, but given the lack of high quality competition, that isn't saying too much. Maybe their reputation leads to overly hyped expectations, because my breakfast sandwich was just decent. There's nothing bad about the food, but also nothing too exciting. To be fair, I ordered some straight forward breakfast bagels and haven't yet tried their more unique menu items. The bacon egg and cheese was not very cheesy. Egg and bacon were both good. I asked for chipotle mayo, which as an additional $0.50 add-on, was a half-hearted portion. The bagel itself (went for an everything) was fine. Again, to be fair, I'm a born and raised Montrealer so coming from the home of the best bagels in the world (come at me, New Yorkers) it left something to be desired. But I don't blame Goldberg's for that- as I said, it's probably the best in the area. I also got a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. I appreciated that my request for well toasted was listened to. The bagel itself had nice flavor, sweet enough without tasting like a dessert. Could have had more raisins in it. The amount of cream cheese was satisfactory, even for my husband. I believe the biggest turn-off about Goldberg's is that you can't just roll out of bed and head over to grab a bite. They suggest you place an order 45min before you want to pick up (this is probably only true on weekends). You can order online, which is helpful, but if you're just trying to cure your hangover with a hearty breakfast, you probably don't have the foresight to plan so far in advance. All in all, I wouldn't give up on them. I don't think the basic breakfast sandwiches are worth recommending to others, but I will be sure to go back and try some of their other more interesting sandwiches. Stay tuned.

My company picks up bagels from there once a week. There's a Hispanic man there and if he's having a bad day, you will be yelled at and disrespected in a restaurant full of people and in a pretty loud voice. Second time someone from my office has been degraded and disrespected by him. Needless to say, I will never pick up from there again. Bruegger's has better customer service and bagels anyway, and I've never heard of their oven constantly breaking down.

Special bagel place - everything is good including the burnt smell when you walk in.

Alright foodie fam going off bagels alone 4.5.... we landed at GB's during a recent road trip in much need of a beggeling that morning....Im a city boii so impressing me w boiled rounds of proofed dough locally has proven to be very difficult. This spot is a lil hole in the wall kinda joint w very limited seating but walk in and you can tell they do bagels justice here...These might just be some of the best offerings in the state. The begglers have a crisp exterior w a nice flufft up chewy interior w quality toppings all while tipping the scales cuz they chonky n being seeded on both sides (clutch)!!Oh n they do crispy bacon!!...not that pale wilted slightly translucent limp wet noodle stuff most spots rush onto ur sammiesMy only knoccs were that these bhaddies are missing that yeasty malty flavor I was looking for and if your gonna add a bit of sweetness make it a shade more pronounced, this aint Montreal but contrast is nice.Overall a really solid baglery and def one of the best in state, better than olmo, bigger than pop ups

A normal bagel with bacon egg and cheese. Almost anyway. Most places give you two eggs. They only give one. I decided to pay extra for a two egg sandwich, however still only received one. They also prefer call in rather than walk in. Not a big fan of that.
