“I randomly tried this place on Uber Eats without doing my usual deep dive first, and I’m so glad I did. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and seriously delicious. They even paid attention to the notes on my order which I always appreciate.
Honestly, based on how simple the place looks inside and out, I probably would’ve overlooked it completely. Another reminder not to judge a book by its cover because everything was outstanding.“

“The food and service were excellent! However, the plastic lids and coated paper boxes the food is served in does not work for me because it’s environmentally unsustainable. The amount of single-use plastics we go through for convenience is doing serious harm to the health of our planet and life on it. I think the food service industry (and customers) can do a lot to change that.

I would also love to see some wild caught fish that is certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)!

“One of the Best Japanese Restaurants in Connecticut if you love Sushi and Sashimi. The Spider roll made with fried soft shell crab is to die for!! My wife had the Dinner Bento Box with the Bento Chicken and loved everything. The service was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. The soup or salad that comes with the meal is very good. We go to the best rated restaurants in Connecticut and NY. and if they were to improve their ambiance/atmosphere which is a little plain and make the restaurant more romantic it would be a destination restaurant and one of the best anywhere.“

“OMG! An authentic Japanese sushi restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and delicious choices. Extensive sake menu. Prices are reasonable considering you're paying for high quality sushi. I've eaten high quality sushi in Japan and this restaurant is on par if not better. I recommend getting reservations because of limited seating and high demand. Give it a try you won't regret it!“

“I messed up. I asked for my money back on the idea that I did not receive an order I clearly made correct but I thought was wrong. So I e had sushi in the past. This is not my first rodeo. Problem is I had regular sushi which were hand rolled which I thought meant the same as “hand roll”. My apologies and biggest mistake ever! So just so everyone understands: hand rolled which is not cut into small pieces and look like a mini gyro funnel but stuffed with rice veggies and seafood meat. Regular roll is with the sushi tool and log rolled and then cut into pieces. I will definitely give this place another try and forgive me for what happened! “Anaya sushi is the old York Street Noodle House!!!! The sushi was just ok but the Spicy wok basil noodles were exactly as I remember them! The service was ok, no problems, one roll took a long time to come and once we got our food we did not see a server for a while. Would go back for noodles!“
