We always get ours to-go, but the restaurant has a decent amount of inside tables to eat that are clean. Nice cool air conditioning for a hot day. They also have tables outside. Our go-to spot for poke in Hamden.“

“One of the Best Japanese Restaurants in Connecticut if you love Sushi and Sashimi. The Spider roll made with fried soft shell crab is to die for!! My wife had the Dinner Bento Box with the Bento Chicken and loved everything. The service was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. The soup or salad that comes with the meal is very good. We go to the best rated restaurants in Connecticut and NY. and if they were to improve their ambiance/atmosphere which is a little plain and make the restaurant more romantic it would be a destination restaurant and one of the best anywhere.“

The drinks were forgotten and had to be asked for we didn’t receive them until we were finished with our appetizers. We were missing a place setting that also had to be requested a second time. The chef mistakenly started to cook seafood before the beef and poultry and we had a seafood allergy at our table. The food was poorly seasoned and poorly cooked. My shrimp were not clean they still had poop in them. Tonight was very disappointing!“

“My fiancé and I loyally order from here when we are craving Chinese food or sushi. Not only does the food always hit the spot, but their service is amazing. When I informed the woman working at the front of my gluten sensitivity, she took time to run through every ingredient and its contents and triple checked there would be no contamination (who knew imitation crab had gluten?). They took my sensitivity very seriously and I’m extremely grateful for that, as this service is rare.
