Our party had a wonderful time at Dattilo Fine Italian at Water's Edge. We went to the restaurant on a Sunday for brunch. The restaurant is beautiful overlooking the water. The staff/servers were very nice an accommodating and friendly. The food was amazing and the variety was incredible. They offered so much breakfast and dinner items as well as desserts, The price for the brunch price was $49.00 and it is definitely the best price around. I highly recommend this restaurant...
Unfortunately, Dattilo failed to meet our expectations. We did sit at the table for some time, totally unnoticed by multiple waiters, but I did finally flag one down. Service was OK thereafter, nothing special. Dattilo has a Friday Prime Rib special that we both ordered. Unfortunately, the Prime was not top quality as expected in a place like Dattilo - Other local restaurants do Prime better. Excellent dinner and the dining room was very quiet tonight which was great for conversation. Only complaint was that the baked potato was cold. Clam chowder delicious as always. Creme brulee was also delicious.
